USA

Many commentators on the present state of the USA believe that (1) the US-empire is in decline and (2) that it will be supplemented by the BRICS that will act as the new hegemon on the world stage. Bible prophecy tells us something totally different. (1) According to the Bible the USA will become stronger than ever through a worldwide conflict, WWIII, after which it will exert enormous influence over a world that will be largely devastated by war, famine and epidemics. (2) No other empire will ever substitute the USA because the USA will be destroyed by Jesus at his return and He will set up his millennial kingdom in which universal righteousness, peace and prosperity will flourish.

Because of recent developments concerning the weakening position of the dollar, the deteriorating relationship of the USA with almost all other countries (except Israel and Western Europe) and because of the policy of total extermination with which the Palestinian people are confronted (which we hold to be the true people of God, meant in old testament prophecies), we expect the unwinding of history to start very soon. This 'unwinding' of history will be the last power-struggle of the empire - not against the upcoming BRICS, but against the returning Jesus. This power struggle, that is directed from the spiritual world, will last for 3.5 years. It is already in full preparation, which we see in the total derailment of what used to be know as 'human rights'.

The first Bible prophecy on the USA, we clearly find in the book of Daniel. It is portrayed ast 'the little horn', coming up among ten other horns on the head of the fourth beast. The fourth beast is the Roman empire out of which came the nations of Europe. The 'little horn' is very different from te previous ones, grows bigger than they are and subdues three of the first ten horns. All of this is seen in the historical development of the USA.
