The Tribulation

How long will it take?

'How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half"

(Daniel 12:6,7)

 

Whereas the focus of this page is on the duration of the tribulation, wich is of enormous importance for the billions of people that will go through this darkest of periods, the above text also shows that the Entime is not just about 'trouble'. It is also a time of 'wonders' or 'marvels'.

9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,  (2 Thess.2:9)

Previous - Where are we now?

Don't they know the whiles of the devil? That 'Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light' so that 'it is not surprising if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness'? (2 Cor11:14). Don't they know that 'the coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works.' Don't they know that 'He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie?' (2 Thess.2:9) As described in Revelation 13: 'And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth.' (Rev.13:13,14) Which nation is raining nothing but fire on citizens all around the Middle East? That Israel and Jerusalem would be a delusion in the last phase of the empires, is clearly stated in Zechariah: 

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. (Zech.12:2,3)

 

13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth.  (Rev.13:13,14)
