Daniel

The book of Daniel shows the past 2,600 years of history as a sequence of four empires, the last of which is represented in the Endtime by the USA. The book of Revelation shows the exact same sequence from another point of view. Six centuries had passed and three of the four empires had shifted into history. The first three empires can be understood as preliminary phases of the last, the Roman empire, which is the most important. The Roman empire is the most important for at least three reasons:

(1) The Roman empire is the empire that incorporated the achievements of the first three empires. In fact the first three empires are somehow represented in the Roman empire.

(2) The Roman empire is the empire that reigned while Jesus Christ was born, lived, was crucified, rose from the grave and went to heaven. He came 'in the fullness of time.' (Gal.4:4)

(3) The Roman empire is the empire that will again rule the world at the return of Jesus Christ and that will be destroyed by Him in order for the epoque of empires to be finished forever. It is the United States that is seen as the modern version of the Roman empire.

The books of Daniel and Revelation are interrelated and have to be understood as one Prophecy that the Most High gave us in order for us to understand the world we live in. Both show us the USA as the final stage of the fourth empire, Rome.

The Roman empire and the United States are to be found in multiple chapters of the book of Daniel: In Daniel 2 (Rome without the USA), in Daniel 7 (Rome with the USA), in Daniel 8 (only the USA in the background), in Daniel 9 (Rome with the USA) and in Daniel 11 (Rome with the USA).

The rest of this webpage wil be dedicate to showing where and how exactly in the above chapters of Daniel we encounter Rome and the USA.

 

Daniel 2

The dream of Nebuchadnezzar around 600 BC, shows the four empires as parts of an enormous statue. The golden head represents the Babylonian empire (605-539 BC) that ruled at the moment the dream was given. The silver breast and arms represent the Medo-Persian empire (539-331 BC). The the belly and thighs of bronze represent the Greek empire (333-63 BC). The legs and feet of iron represent the Roman empire (64 BC-476AD). The Roman empire was split in an Eastern and a Western part in 395 AD as having two legs. For timelines until Rome, sea: Timeline. After the collapse of the Western and later the Eastern empire, it was divided into more or less sovereign nations and kingdoms that each took over part of the empire (ten toes of the statue in the dream).

In his explanation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream, Daniel is very explicit about the ten toes. The ten toes is the stage we are still living in. It is the stage that He states the following:

^'And whereas you saw the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with miry clay.

And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

And whereas you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.' (Dan.2:41-44)

 

Here four things are stated about the state of the Roman empire after it was broken into pieces:

(1) The pieces (nations of Europe) would all have some of the strength of the Roman empire, though mixed with their own weaknesses.

(2) The pieces would not be able to assemble themselves again into a new empire - it would be a totally divided empire

(3) The pieces would try to come together through intermarriage (mingle themselves with the seed of man) but even in that way they would not succeed to regain unity.

(4) The pieces would end in total destruction when God Himself would replace the epoque of empires by a kingdom of Himself, that would rule the whole earth.

One only needs a very swift glance at Europe's history to see how very true this prophecy has been for about 1,500 years.

The prophecy on the statue only focuses on the European heirs of the Roman empire in the ten toes and does not yet contain any prophecy on the United States. However, it explains why the United States could succeed in becoming the dominant world power of the Endtime. The nations on the European continent were partly weak and totally divided. This made the US strategy of 'divide and conquer' extremely successful.  This is revealed in a second dream, which was given by God to Daniel himself, the dream of four beasts that came out of the sea.

 

Daniel 7

The dream of the beasts, coming out of the sea, very much resembles the dream of the statue. Only now, the successive empires are not presented as parts of one statue but as four separate beasts. Our explanation of Revelation 17 will show how both of Daniel's dreams are combined into one picture. That God showed the same prophecy on four successive empires in two different dreams shows us that the matter was completely certain in a very early stage of the emerging empires. This was also the case with the dreams of Farao, that were explained by Joseph: 'And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. (Gen.41:32)

The four empires in the second dream are portrayed as follows: The Babylonian empire is presented as a winged lion, the Persian empire if presented as a bear, the Greek empire is presented as a four-headed leopard and the Roman empire is described as 'dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.' (Dan.7:7)

The ten horns of the fourth beast corresponds to the ten toes at the end of the legs and feet of the statue. Both the iron legs and feet of the statue and the fourth beast represent the Roman empire, which was broken into pieces in the fifth century AD. But the second dream adds an important detail to the prophecy: the eleventh horn:

 

'I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.' (Daniel 8:8)

 

The Little Horn

Like the toes in the first dream, the little horn gets most of the attention, making it the main subject of the dream. Three important characteristics are given of the 'little horn':

(1) The little horn would come up among the ten horns of the fourth beast

(2) Before the little horn three of the existing horns would be plucked up by the roots

(3) The little horn would be characterized by 'eyes like the eyes of man' and 'a mouth speaking great things'

 

(1) Among the Ten Horns

The 'among them' is often understood as a territorial indication. If so, the 'little horn' should arise within Europe. However, the 'among them' is a word that'is only used twice in the Bible (only in Daniel) and is closely related to another word, which can also mean 'from'. Aside of that, the peoples of Europe colonized other parts of the world and therefore the little horn could very well arise among those peoples in one those colonies. This is exactly what we see in history. The most important colony of Europe grew into the United States of America, once it gained independence.

 

(2) The Three defeated Horns

The little horn indeed succeeded in replacing three of the former horns from their positions of power, taking over their control. Soon after 1776 the United States of America became an important player on the world stage. It contained enormous spiritual strength in the European colonists, that struggled for about 70 years to gain complete controle over the vast area of the present USA. From then on the USA presided over enormous natural resources. In 1890 the USA had already passed China as the number one producer of goods in the world. Together with the constant struggles between European powers, this enabled the USA to take over world control in three stages. In each stage it defeated one of the three most powerful nations of Europe to become the dominant world-power until the return of Jesus.

(a) Spain (1898) was defeated and it had to relinquish its colonies in South America and in South-East Asia (the Philippines). 

(b) Germany (1918) was defeated through WW1, which started very conspicuously the year after the foundation of the FED, the institution that gave bankers even more financial control than before. The second world war was in fact an extension of the first giving Germany the fatal blow but the country was already very much weakened and had to be built up by US-capital.

(c) The UK (1945) was defeated through a process of European wars (which in part were secretly instigated from the US - aggravating the already existing discord between European rulers) in which it became totally dependent on the USA. In the end it had to succumb to the wishes of the USA - in letting go of its colonies and keeping the parts which the USA later could use for their own purposes (Cyprus).

After WWII, the USA rose as the world's hegemon. This corresponds with an element that Daniel adds to his dream when he recounts it before the heavenly figure in his dream: he refers to the 11th horn as the one 'whose look was more stout (or great) than his fellows'. So, what started as 'a little horn', a stroke of territory at the East coast of the present US, consisting of English colonies, having indeed the form of a 'horn', grew into a power that was greater than all former powers of Europe. This element is also added by the heavenly figure that explains Daniel's dream: 'and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first' (Verse 24) The word 'diverse' is the same as that used for the consecutive empires being different from each other. When looking at the US empire compared to the nations of Western Europe, one can say that it is indeed quite different in many aspects. It molded the methods of politics, economics, warfare and intelligence into a totally new power-structure in which it achieved world dominance without actually being seen as the world empire, because it hides behind many institution with a humanitarian (UN) or even christian (RC-church, Evangelicals) outlook.

 

It also succeeded in creating its boogieman, the Soviet Union, directly after WWII, which gave the empire the excuse for a continuous worldwide military buildup. Once the boogieman was not enough of a threat any longer, in the nineties of the 20th century, it created a new one in 'world terrorism', through the false flag attack on 9/11/2001. The power of the USA is unmatched in history. Even the British empire was not that great and in the end proved to be no match for the USA. Anno 2025, the USA even has created three 'natural enemies': Russia (through the constant Eastward expansion of NATO), China (through decades of capital exports to China and the dispute of Taiwan) and Iran (through accusations of 'building a nuclear bomb' followed by sanctions). Through the USA, the stage has been set for the last phase of history before the return of Christ, the phase of 'te red horse of Revelation 6' and Jesus' prophecy: 'nations shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom'.

 

The 'uprooting of the three preceding horns' does not necessarily mean that these three preceding horns cease to exist or shrink into insignificance. It might also mean that these 'horns' loose their status of dominance and even Independence. That is what actually happened. Spain, Germany and the UK still exist but they have become totally entrenched within the US-empire, becoming so to speak 'horns'upon its head, together with the other nations of Europe, which never became so powerful. This is also implied in the repetition of the dream by Daniel and the explanation of the dream by a heavenly figure (angel?): 

'and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell' (Verse 20)

'and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings' (Verse 24)

So the three preceding horns that would be uprooted, would 'fall' or 'be subdued'. They would not cease to exist but they would be stripped of their political and military power and become subservient to the 11th horn. This is indeed the history of Europe with the United States until this very day.

 

(3) The Big Mouth

Back to the little horn. The third element of the little horn, mentioned in Daniel's prophecy is that it had 'eyes like the eyes of man' and 'a mouth speaking great things' Both are very apt descriptions of the US-behavior on the world stage. The 'eyes lik the eyes of a man' could very well point to the refined worldwide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance network that the USA has built over time together with al of its partners. The 'mouth speaking great things' is also descriptive of the USA. For the past decades US-presidents have become very talkative heads, telling the rest of the world how to behave, according to their 'rules based international order'. The present one is even more proud and outspoken, acting as the policeman of the world. The mouth could also point to all Western propaganda, coming mainly from the USA, to which the public has been subjected since the rise of modern means of mass communication.

 

The USA as the Fourth Beast

The description of the complete fourth beast is also very apt for the USA: 'dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it'. The USA is developing into the most devastating force mankind has ever seen, with its 700 military bases all over the world and its constant interference in the affairs of many other countries. This will come to fruition once the USA, as the rider of the red horse, will have given 'power to take peace from the earth'.

The description of the fourth kingdom by the heavenly figure also seems to point at the final stage of the Roman empire in the USA:

'The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.'

Never has the Roman empire devoured the whole earth. But the USA has done so by all means at its disposal: financial, economic, political, diplomatic, intelligence, military and if full control of the media-landscape. The treading down of the earth and breaking it in pieces is yet future: the igniting of a third world war with much of the existing weaponry being deployed, at the breaking of the second seal by the Lamb (Rev.6:3,4)

 

That the complete beast and not just the horn is a picture of the USA is shown once the dream reveals the end of the beast:

'I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.' (Dan.7:11,12).

This part of the dream tells us that it is not just the horn that is cut off or destroyed. The complete beast, 'his body' is destroyed, and given to the burning flame. The old Roman empire has long ceased to exist. And so did the intermediate stage of the many horns of Europe that came out of it. The body 'being destroyed and thrown in the fire' can only apply to the last stage of the empire, being the USA, which started as 'the little horn' but which has developed into the complete beast. Interesting is the comment on the other 'beasts'. There dominion was taken away in the succession of empires. They were stripped from their military, political and economic power. However, they didn't cease to exist. Until this day we still have a Greek, a Persian (Iran) and even a 'Babylonian' (Irak) nation. But also 'for a season and time'. Therefore they will be terminated once Jesus returns with the judgment of God.

 

The Saints of the Most High

The first explanation of the dream, given to Daniel by the heavenly figure, is very short. It is the main line of the story:

'These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.' (Dan.7:17,18)

However short, new elements are added

(1) The dream started by four beasts coming out of the sea but here it is said they shall arise out of the earth.

(2) 'the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom and possess it forever'.

The sea with which the dream started might be symbolic of the 'sea of nations' out of which the empires arose, while the earth is the literal earth. More important is the second difference: the saints of the most High, who are they? They are the people of God, that are connected to the Messiah through their relationship with God and with Him. They are the people that will be on earth in the Endtime, during the last phase of the empires, and that will testify of Jesus Christ, Who is about to come with the clouds of heaven, the Son of man, which Daniel also saw in his dream: 

^'I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

^'And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.' (Dan.7:14,15)

So worldwide dominion would be given to the Son of man and the saints of the most High would take the kingdom. This means that the saints of the most High will reign together with the Son of man, Jesus Christ.

 

The War against the Saints

In Daniel's recounting of the dream and the explanation, given by the heavenly figure new elements are again added to what Daniel had already seen:

'I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.' (Verses 21,22)

^'And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.' (Verses 25-27)

Five things are mentioned her:

(1) The empire would speak great words against the most High

(2) The empire would wage war on the saints of the most High and wear them out

(3) The empire would attempt to change times and laws

(4) The oppression against the saints would take 3.5 years (time, times and half a time).

(5) The kingdom under the whole heaven would be given to the people of the saints of the most High (which is the true Jewish people).

 

Looking at the declining behavior of the US-empire, especially the president, the speaking of great words against the most High is not far. The empire is getting more angry and frustrated by the day because of worldwide developments concerning its reserve currency, its military debacle in Ukraine, its shrinking political influence on the world stage, the alignment of BRICS countries and because of its plummeting popularity due to its treatment of the genocide of the Palestinian people. This could easily lead to radical behavior against the most High, as was the case with the Greek king around 180 BC.

 

If the Endtime is near, the war against the saints of the most High is the prolongation of the present war against the Palestinian people, which indeed are the closest descendants of Old Testament Israel, and not the so called European Jews. That is why they are being targeted by the empire, that from the unseen world is controlled by the devil, the mortal enemy of God's people. This is seen in Revelation 12, which we have discussed here. 

 

The change of time and laws can already been seen in the 'rules based order' which the USA wants to dictate to the rest of the world. It can also be seen in constant attempts at regime change in countries it wants to control. Much of this is done in order to contain Russia and China, which its sees as threats to its global hegemony. It will however go far beyond this once the empire assumes worldwide control through a third world war (second seal - red horse - Rev.6). Then it will impose the 'beast system', the means of total digital control of the world through the monetary system and the digital copy of the real world, the image of the beast, ordering every soul on earth to accept the mark of the beast with which real time monitoring is effectuated.

 

The darkest phase in history of the beast system will last for only a very short time. Daniel states that the saints shall be given in the hands of the beast for a time, times and half a time, 3.5 years. We believe that the 3.5 years includes the world war and devastating calamities from heaven from which the empire will have to recover. We estimate that only the last 1.5 years of the Endtime will see the total digital control by the beast. 

 

Not only the saints of the most High but also the people of the saints of the most high will share in the rule of the kingdom of God. This is also seen in many Old Testament texts, showing the total restoration of the true Jewish people, for instance: 'Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.' (Zech. 8:23)

 

Daniel 8

In Daniel 8, we see the US-empire in the background, without being explicitly named. Daniel 8 is about the defeat of the Persian empire (the second empire of Daniel 2 and 7) by the Greek empire (the third empire of Daniel 2 and 7), which after the death of Alexander the Great was divided in four parts, two of which were constantly at war, 'the king of the North' (the Seleucid kingdom) and 'the king of the South' (the Ptolemaic kingdom). Between these two rivals within the Greek empire lay the small country of Israel, which had returned from exile from Babylon a century or so earlier. The main character in Daniel 8 is one of the leaders of the northern empire, called Antioch Epiphanes, who was humiliated by the upcoming Roman empire on one of his battles with Ptolemaic Egypt. On his return his rage turned against the Jews that were faithful to their God and refused to be hellenized. He ordered the sacrifices at the Jewish temple to be halted, offered pigs on the altar and instituted the worship of Zeus within the temple. The desecration of the temple took about 3 years. It lasted from Kislev 25 of 167 BC till Kislev 25 of 164 BC. The uprising of the Maccabees resulted in the liberation of the temple and the resumption of the temple service.

 

2300 Evenings

The problem in explaining Daniel 8 has often been the number of days that the desecration of the temple would last. The text says:

'And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; ^H6153 then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.' (Dan.8:14)

The literal text says 2300 'evenings' instead of 2300 days. The explanation that only 1150 days or about three years are meant instead of 2300 days or more than six years does not hold. This explanation ties into one of the last verses of the chapter:

'And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.' (Dan.8:26)

Each day counted two regular burnt offerings, one in the morning and one in the evening. The 2300 is supposed to relate to these offerings and not to the days. The abomination would last 1150 x 2 = 2300 offerings, which would have been 1150 days. That this explanation doesn't hold is directly seen when looking at a literal translation of Daniel 8:14:  'And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.' (Dan.8:14). So only the 2300 evening burnt offerings were counted and not the 2300 morning burnt offerings. It was at the evening burnt offering that Jesus was crucified. Therefore they are of special significance.

 

1260 Days left

The true explanation is that part of the prophecy on the 2300 days of abomination is yet future. There will be a future abomination of desolation that will make the amount of days full. If exactly 3 years of temple desecration would have passed from Kislev 25 of 167 BC till Kislev 25 of 164 BC, that would be a total of 3 x 360 = 1080 days (reckoning with the Jewish moon calendar of 360 days). So there would still be 2300 - 1080 days = 1220 days to be fulfilled, which is only 40 days short of the 1260 days or 42 months or 3.5 years of which prophecy is warning in many places. There might be an inaccuracy in the historical account, either at the beginning or at the end of the abomination in the days of the Maccabees.

 

The Time is the End

That part of this prophecy is still future is also indicated by the explanation on the vision by Gabriel, about which he says (most literal translation):

'And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be the end of the indignation: for the appointed time is the end.'

The first word 'know what shall be the end of the indignation' is often used to indicate the Endtime, the last days of history as we know it. The last part of the indignation would be fulfilled in the Endtime. Another passage pointing the the Endtime is the following:

'And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences shall stand up.'

'The latter time of their kingdom...' could apply to the time of Antioch Epiphanes, who lived during the latter stages of the Greek empire while Rome was already becoming powerful.  But the '...when the transgressors are come to the full...' cannot be applied to Antioch's days because that will wait till the Endtime, the time of which the book of Revelation says: 'Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.' (Rev.22:11).

Another characteristic that can only apply to the Endtime is: 'And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power...' Antioch Epiphanes did not rely on any external forces. Daniel 11 says of him: 'And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army'. No other power on which he would have relied is mentioned.

 

The United States

Here comes the United States into the perspective. The 'king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences' of Daniel 8:23 is nobody else than Netanyahu, who was groomed in the USA in the eighties and nineties of past century and who took over the power in Israel since 1996 as prime minister. He has led the attack on the two state solution, which would guarantee the Palestinians their own state. Eventually he killed the two state solution, and has taken away from the Palestinians every hope of having their own state, while they are the indigenous population with the most direct relation to ancient Israel. But the zionist state of Israel cannot exist for one day without the support of the United States. Israel is the most important proxy of the United States in the Middle East, through which its foothold in the oil rich and most strategic region in the world was solidified. Netanyahu is not an autonomous leader of Israel. He is an agent of the USA, guiding the US-project in the Middle East, called 'Israel'. In the USA, he has gotten the task of destroying the two state solution and he is fulfilling it with a downright genocide.

 

Netanyahu

Everything in Daniel 8:23-26 can be applied to Netanyahu.

1. 'A king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences' - To survive as premier in the most fascist country with a ruthless apartheid regime in the world for almost 30 years, constantly destroying the life of half of the population through legislature, technology and brutal oppression, asks indeed for a very fierce countenance and for the resort to very dark forces - the synagogue of satan - where large parts of the so called Jewish community belongs to (Revelation 3:9)

2. 'And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power' - the above mentioned total dependency on the United States of America, from a diplomatic, a financial and a military perspective.

3.  'and he shall destroy wonderfully' - every political opponent has to be murdered. Netanyahu and those in his company, killed not only armed resistance but also all political opponents, even a prime minister who wanted to actually go along with a Palestinian state, Yitzhak Rabin. Recent assassinations are many political leaders and negotiators of Hamas, of Hezbollah, top scientists and military officials of Iran and the complete cabinet of Yemen. It bombed the embassy of Iran in Syria, the Syrian government buildings, the complete Syrian military infrastructure, the complete South of Lebanon, many civilian targets in Yemen and recently the government buildings in Doha, Qatar in an attempt to murder the negotiators of Hamas.

4. 'and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people' - Since 1948, the state of Israel has been stealing land from the indigenous population, the Palestinians, a theft made into law by an institution that would embody and defend human rights around the world but  that trespassed the rights of millions in one of its first acts in the most grotesque way imaginable, followed by decades of silence while these rights were more and more pulverized by the state of Israel it created. But with the machinations of Netanyahu the fate of the Palestinian people was sealed. He gave rights to so called Jewish settlers to colonize the West-Bank, which had been assigned to the Palestinians. He used the false flag of October 7 to start a war with Palestinians in Gaza that killed 65.000 according to official statistics but a much higher amount according to more reliable estimates and studies, of which more than 80% concerns civilians. The Palestinians are the true people of God, most directly linkend to the 12 tribes of old Israel. In the Endtime they would come under fierce attack according to Daniel 7:21, 9:27,  Daniel 12:1, Jer.30:7, Rev.12:13, Zech.13:8).

5. 'And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand' - The word 'craft' has also the meaning of deceit, treachery. This corresponds to the deception by the beast out of the earth (Israel), deceiving the world into worshiping the empire (the USA) and making an image of it, leading up to the technocratic tyranny of the beast system. The main deception is that Netanyahu presents himself and his political entourage in the Knesset as independent and autonomous, guided by their own personal interests, if not the interests of their country. Behind this deceptive facade is the truth of the US-imperial power directing him in each and every step of the way. Nothing happening in Israel goes without full knowledge, support and approval of the USA. For Israel was created for the guarding of US-interests in the Middle East and thereby in the whole world. The world domination of the US rests on its little outpost in the Middle East. Revelation 13:12 says it all: 'And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed'. 

6. '...and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many'- Being at the center of power in the empire for such a long time, much longer than US-presidents, makes a man proud. We see this in the figure of Netanyahu, who doesn't seem to have any problem with orchestrating a genocide (destroying many - the same 'many as meant in Daniel 9:27 - the covenant that would be made heavy for 'many). The US-empire gave him a status of total impunity. His pride therefore can withstand any accountability, even for war crimes. At first glance the sentence 'by peace shall destroy many' makes no sense. But looking at the situation with the Palestinians, it was through constant 'peace talks' that they were lured into their present situation of total hopelessness. Decade after decade the 'peace process' has dragged on till Palestine has come in a situation that is proclaimed to be a genocide. Even during the genocide 'cease fire talks' are meant to continue the war, which is evident by the assassinations of the negotiators by Netanyahu.

7. '...he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.'

In September 2025 this is still future. But the end is fast approaching. The moment will come that Netanyahu will desecrate the holy sites of the Mosques at the Haram Al-Sharif - the temple precincts - where he will honor his great protector, the USA, in the person of DJ Trump - at least that is what we expect. This will happen after the rapture of the church and the repentance of many Muslims in their acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Son of the most High. While Jesus will be worshiped in Mosques, any desecration of Mosques will be an act of defiance against Jesus. So finally the genocidal maniac comes against the Savior of mankind, the Prince of princes, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Then the last part of the 2300 'evenings' will start, the 1260 days or 42 months that the book of Revelation speaks about, the period we called 'the Endtime'. After those 1260 days, Netanyahu will find his end, together with Trump and both their evil entities, all those that have participated in the decision making of the empire and its proxy.

 

Daniel 9

Daniel 9 ends with one of the most important prophecies in the Bible that can be considered a cornerstone for understanding the Endtime. It is about 70 'weeks', 70 periods of 7 years, a total of 490 years that would expire 'from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem' until the second coming of Jesus. Of these 'weeks of years', 69 would expire until Jesus' first coming, 'Messiah the Prince'. After the 69th week (but NOT in the 70th week, the last week is only mentioned in the very last verse) Messiah would be cut off. After completing his ministry, Jesus was crucified. Directly thereafter follows:

'and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined'.

It happened 40 years after Jesus' death and resurrection by the Roman legions, in 70 AD, that Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed.

 

The Last Week

The above can mean only one thing: that the clock of 70 weeks stopped ticking after the coming of Jesus after the 69th week. After all, what would be accomplished at the end these 70 weeks, according to the start of the message, 'to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins' (9:24) was in 70AD further away than ever - 40 years after Christ's death, much more years than the 7 years of the 70th 'week'. And even after almost 2000 years, the ending of sin and the finishing of transgression is still to be achieved. 

What comes after the destruction of city and temple, in Daniel 9:26, is hard to understand. Literally it says: end - flood - unto end - war - desolations - determined. The two times mentioning of 'end' seems to point to the Endtime. The struggles about Jerusalem and its people would not stop after 70 AD but would continue until the bitter end. Indeed, from other passages we know that in the Endtime, armies will invade the holy land, by which it will be devastated - as determined by the most High. This applies first to the Nakba of 1948, which led to the expulsion of almost a million Palestinians from their land. But it won't stop there. The most horrific destruction will come once the land will be targeted by the king of the North' as a reaction to 'the abomination of desolation'. This is the subject of the last verse.

 

The President

'And he shall make the covenant heavy for many for one week...' - this is how the important verse of Daniel 9:27 starts. The big question is: who is this mysterious 'he'? This 'he' refers to the last person mentioned in the previous verse 26: 'and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary'. Therefore, the 'he' applies to 'the prince to come' of whom the people destroyed the city and the sanctuary. It is therefore the prince of the Roman empire, the fourth empire of Daniel 7. This would be divided into ten nations, the nations of Europe, among which a new nation would arise, which would empower them all and would grow into a world empire, the USA. Therefore the USA is the last heir of the Roman empire and the 'prince' is the president of the USA.

 

The Covenant

The next question is: What is 'the covenant'? Here one has to read the text in its context. The angel that gave Daniel this prophecy starts it with saying: 'Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city...'. The covenant has to be seen in this context of 'the people and the holy city'. It is all about the people of Israel, which today are not the Europeans that have claimed the land and that have a mixed ancestry of European and Jewish roots. The true people of Israel are the Palestinians, who have the most pure ancestry of ancient Israeli roots. In 1917 a covenant was made between the US/GB- empire and European-Jewish bankers, called 'the Balfour Declaration', named after the British foreign secretary. This covenant has eventually led to the complete ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians from the holy land. It is an almost 80 year war against God's people. But with the start of the last extremist Netanyahu cabinet, this war sharply intensified and is turned into a downright genocide. We therefore estimate that this last 70th week started with the Netanyahu cabinet that started on December 29, 2022. 

 

The Many

The last question is: Who are 'the many'? Here the translation is of importance. The Hebrew text literally states: 'He will make - strong/heavy -  covenant - many - one week' - In context these 'many' are the people of the most High, we would nowadays call the Palestinians, the same 'many' which are mentioned in Daniel 8:26, the many that are destroyed by peace by 'the king with the fierce countenance' - the Palestinians, led by the nose through so called peace talks that have brought them nothing than death and destruction.

 

Casus Belli

'...and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease...' - The president of the United States will be instrumental in stopping sacrifices at the midst of 'the week', that is 3.5 years after the week started. If the week indeed started on December 29, 2022, this will happen around June 2026, which seems indeed written in the stars of heaven. Many think that the sacrifice and oblation that will be stopped by the US-president will be part of a Jewish ceremony int the temple. We hold another view. The US-president is on the side of the religious extremists in Israel. They are an important element of his base. The last thing he would want is to enrage them by desecrating their temple. The ones that the US want to antagonize are the Muslim countries, in order to start a third World War. We are at the cusp of a World War. The buildup to a war consists of 3 phases: (1) Information war, silencing opposition against war, demonizing the enemy - (2) Shaping the theater through replacing unwilling governments and executing war drills and exercises - (3) Provocation in order to actually incite the war - the 'casus belli'. We have been going through the first two phases for a couple of years already. What the USA needs is the perfect flashpoint.

 

Iran

The corner stone in the battle against US hegemony is the so called 'axis of resistance' with Iran at the center. Iran is strategically important for Russia (as isolation against Western attacks from the South) and for China (as supplier of energy and gate for the North-South corridor). But Iran is not easily defeated. It has one of the largest arsenals of highly sophisticated rockets. Its mountainous terrain is impenetrable. If our understanding of Bible prophecy is correct, the US will use its proxy, Israel, as the flashpoint for Iran to employ all of its military skills and power against Israel. That would leave Israel completely destroyed but that doesn't matter for the empire. The proxy woud have served its goals well for the next step would be an easy fight of the USA against a fatigued Iranian army that has fully exposed itself. Provoking Iran into an all-out attack on Israel would be a master move and would end in check mate for Iran. That would give the USA world dominance again. It is Daniel 11 (see below) that shows us how this plays out.

 

The Offering

In our view the taking away of sacrifice and oblation (offering) apply to the Muslim rituals. Both words are used in Exodus 29:38-41 for the daily offerings of lambs, one in the morning and one in the evening. Islamic tradition also combines both, the sacrifice and the offering, one third for God, one third for the family and one third for the poor. But these sacrifices and offerings are only performed during a very few days in the holy year.  That is possibly why Daniel 8 does NOT speak of daily offerings but of evenings. Within the Islam, the sacrifice of an animal is legal from the morning of the 10th to the sunset of the 12th Dhu l-Hijjah, the 12th lunar month of the Islamic calendar  In 2026, this month is between May 18 and June 15. So the last days of May 2026 could become decisive.

 

The abominations

The rest of Daniel 9 is about the total destruction that will follow once the third world war will be ignited. '...and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.' This verse shows that the US-president shall willfully provoke total desolation. A world empire that has the choice between either shrinking into insignificance or tearing the world down into a total war with a small chance of regaining control will choose the latter - 'he will make it desolate'.

What is meant by the 'overspreading of abominations'? The word for 'overspreading' almost always translated as 'wing'. The word refers to the protection that a mother bird gives is its chicks. This resembles the constant protection by the USA of an Israeli behavior which is detested by most people in the world. We have witnessed two years in which the USA has constantly shielded its evil proxy in the Middle East from each and every consequence its evil behavior should have had. No less than six resolutions for a cease fire in GAZA were vetoed by the USA while 2 million citizens of Gaza are facing famine and extinction, not to mention the bombings of Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, Syria and even Qatar and the killing of negotiators, diplomats, mosques, hospitals and journalists. The indignation will have reached a tipping point as soon as the Al Aqsa Mosque (which is closest to the former temple) will be defiled through a concerted action by the US President and the Israeli prime minister. Such an action will probably be defended and justified by the perpetrators in every possible way, possibly even by pointing to the necessity of a Jewish temple arising in place of one of the Mosques.

 

Until the End

'...even until the consummation' - How long will the 'making it desolate' go on? Here it is stated: until the consummation. The word 'consummation' is mostly translated with 'end', in which case it means: a total and absolute end, the total finishing of something. This probably concerns the very last phase of the Endtime, in which the vials of God's wrath will be poured out to destroy everything that has been contrary to his will, especially the US-empire with all of its vassals and proxies, including Israel. The conclusion is that Israel will be totally destroyed and will not be rebuilt before the second coming of Jesus. The infrastructure of 'the holy land' will be used for one thing only: for the digital monitoring of the world-wide beast system. Of Gaza it is already stated that it would be transformed into a high-tech manufacturing hub, once it would be colonized by the USA. The beast's information system will probably be mainly underground, which is already started.

That the nation of Israel will remain largely in ruins until the return of our Lord is also indicated in the ending of Daniel 9: 'and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate'. That which is determined in Daniel refers to God's righteous judgment coming over the perpetrators of the abominations. Look at the previous verse, which ended with: 'end - flood - unto end - war - desolations - determined' - so what's determined are desolations, brought upon the world by God's judgment. We see it even more in Daniel 11:36 where we read about the last leader of Israel: 'and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.' This means that however the Israeli premier might succeed, his end will surely come. So, 'that determined shall be poured out upon the desolate' means that the last judgments of God, the vials that are filled with his wrath and that will bring utter destruction upon large parts of the world, will in the case of the land of Israel be coming down on what was already destroyed. The land of Israel has to wait for a double destruction.
