You

On which side are you?

Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.

You are you. You are unique. No one has the same genes, upbringing, education, career, family history, and so on. You are important to God. So important that Jesus, His Son, was also born and died for you.

Perhaps you don't realize how important your life is in the eyes of God. Perhaps you don't believe in God or you feel like God is far away. This may be because you never notice anything of God. You notice so little of God that you sometimes, or even regularly, wonder if God even exists. The seeming total absence of God can even completely convince people that there is no God.

God is not absent. The fact that He is not visible doesn't mean He doesn't exist. Just as the invisibility of electricity or radiation doesn't mean they don't exist. Your reaction to this might be: yes, but we notice the effects of electricity and radiation. Electricity keeps my lights on and allows me to use my PC, TV, and other devices. My constant internet connection proves the presence of radiation. But what effect does the existence of the invisible God have?

How do you perceive God's existence? In everything you perceive with your senses. What you feel, smell, taste, see, and hear. The sun, the moon, the stars, the flora, the fauna, the earth, the sea, the air, the laws of nature, everything. The functioning of the circulatory system, the respiratory system, the digestive system, the nervous system, the immune system, and all other mechanisms in every body, down to the microscopic, are in His hand. God is also present in what you feel inside: joy, courage, love, peace, but also sadness, fear, anger, and the feelings of shame, remorse, and guilt for a wrong action. Every fraction of time, creation in all its fullness is sustained by God. However, God is not equal to creation. He transcends his creation and continually brings it forth from his infinite Being.

You are important to God. You may be one person out of approximately 7.5 billion people on a small planet orbiting one of the 500 billion stars in one of the 100 billion galaxies. But your size does not determine your importance. Just as someone twice as heavy or twice as tall is not twice as important, a star or galaxy a trillion times as large is not a trillion times as important. You can marvel at the enormous size of the universe. That wonder resides in your mind. The universe therefore derives the relevance of its enormous dimensions from your mind and your imagination. Without humanity, no one would be able to marvel at the universe, and the size of the universe would mean nothing to anyone.

Humans are made in God's image and likeness. Humans give meaning to everything in creation. This makes humanity so important to God that He is willing to sacrifice everything for humanity. Humans are, in a sense, miniatures of God Himself. That's why God could come to earth as a Man and live among us, experiencing the same things as we do, with feelings He already knew as God, but which He now shared with us as a Man. As God who became Man, He wants to enter into a relationship with all people. And everyone who enters into this relationship with Him will share eternity with Him. Because He became Man, He can share with every person the life He possessed in eternity as God. This demonstrates that He places an enormous value on every person. Including you.

'Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed'

These were Jesus' words to Thomas, who didn't believe the other disciples when they brought him the message of Jesus' resurrection. It shows us that the contrast of believing versus seeing is not in the Bible. According to Jesus, the seeing, even the feeling inside Jesus' wounds, did not take away the necessity of believing. Jesus says there are two ways of believing: believing through seeing and believing without seeing. And the latter form of faith clearly has his preference. The combination of believing with seeing is also mentioned in the first visit of John at the tomb of Jesus after the resurrection, where is stated: 'He saw and believed' (John 20:8).

Seeing does not take away the necessity of believing. This becomes very clear when we look at the reactions of most of the Jews to the works Jesus performed and to the resurrection. The Jewish people all had access to the same facts that the disciples were witnessing. But they chose not to believe. Therefore, believing is not something that automatically follows 'seeing'. Believing is a matter of choice. People can chose to be selective in accepting incoming information. They can choose not to believe their eyes once they see something. They can choose not to believe their memory once they have witnessed something. They can choose to twist what they saw. They can choose for a certain interpretation of what they saw, an interpretation that suits theid preconceived opinion or outlook.

Instead of falling on his knees, Thomas could have chosen to run away from the scene of the resurrected Jesus. He could even have decided to escape, never to return, out of a feeling of guilt or horror or self-pity. But Thomas chose to be overwhelmed with awe for his resurrected Master and to bow down and to utter the words 'my Lord and my God'. That same choice will be held out to the world that will witness God's great works of the endtime. People can acknowledge their failure to recognize the great Creator in the beauty and the teleologic construct of the universe. Or they can disregard the evidence of God's astonishing interventions and jump to superstitious explanations of 'extraterrestrials' - the narrative that is constantly kept in reserve for future events in order to deceive the public. For those unwilling to believe, this will suit their interest in continuing their usual way of living - far from God and adapted to modern godless society. The willfully disbelieving won't spend a thought on questions like why the deceased Christians would be the only ones that were resurrected or how extraterrestrials would have come into existence or why the extraterrestrial story would suddenly be acknowledged by the authorities once million of Christians have vanished. They will swallow any story that will become mainstream once God's prophetic deeds will disrupt humanity. It is as with Jesus' words to Philip in the upper room, shortly before his sufferings: 'Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.'

According to Jesus, evidence is no substitute for believing. Evidence might make believing more easy. But even in the sight of overwhelming evidence, faith is still a necessity. Evidence however increases accountability. That was the exact warning of Jesus for the Jews of his days, who were bombarded by evidence:

'The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the people of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom; and now something greater than Solomon is here.  The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and now something greater than Jonah is here.' (Luke 11:31,32)

What will you do in the light of overwhelming evidence of God's existence and of the soon return of Jesus Christ?

The Right Question

"But you do not receive because you do not ask."

The sky is clear this evening. The heavens are studded with stars. If you know them, you can distinguish the galaxies. How far away are the stars? Far. Very far. Unreachably far. Forget the flat-earth theory. It's disinformation that has flooded the internet since 2010 to bury the real information about fake moon landings, which was becoming increasingly large, convincing, well-known, and professional. Simply erasing information wasn't enough. If you want to delve into this: go ahead. Here's a confession. And here's some more information.

The Earth is an unimaginably small sphere in an unimaginably large universe. The nearest star is just over four light-years away. A light-year is 9.46 trillion kilometers. That's 9.46 million million kilometers. The fout light years of the nearest star is therefore approximately 40 million million kilometers away. Elon Musk's rockets can reach a speed of 28,000 kilometers per hour. Such a rocket would take 1,428 years to reach the nearest star. If we had possessed and launched such a rocket at the beginning of the Middle Ages, it would have reached the star by now. The question many people ask, based on this information, is: how can a God exist with the knowledge of the universe's size?

But is this the right question? The size of the universe doesn't make reality less complex than we thought. On the contrary. That reality turns out to be infinitely more complex. Because even though all those stars are so incredibly far away, they form a very stable spectacle in the celestial vault, in which gravitational fields, distances, movements, and developments in stars and planets play an incredibly harmonious and balanced role. The entire starry sky seems to have been made like a clockwork. In fact, it is meant to be a clockwork, and that's why people have used it for thousands of years to designate days, months, years, and times. Where does this harmony in the universe come from?

And what applies to the immeasurably large also applies to the immeasurably small. Every cell in every living being has proven to be an almost infinitely complex factory, with entire libraries of information that the cell's components constantly utilize in all their functioning, interacting and cohering. Instead of asking the question: how can there be a God given the immeasurable greatness and complexity of the reality in which we live, you could also ask the question David asked: "What is man that you are mindful of him? What is the son of man that you regard him?" (Psalm 8:5)

Is it not a wonder that this great God, who created the infinitely large, the infinitely small, and the infinitely complex, is especially interested in you and me? Jesus told his disciples that God's attention to humanity extends so far that He has even numbered every hair on our head. It is unimaginable that this great God wanted to become a small human child and mingle with his creatures, so much so that he ultimately allowed himself to be crucified so that those creatures could return to him.

What many people do then is the opposite of what they do with the size of the universe: they consider the universe too vast for a God to exist who formed it. But with sin, the situation is suddenly reversed. They portray God as very great and the problem of sin as small, and ask: if God is so great, surely he can also make those sins disappear into oblivion? He doesn't need to come to earth and die for that in person, does he?

The key question in everything is really: How great is something in the eyes of the Creator God? In our eyes, the universe is immeasurably large and our sins are insignificantly small. But for God, it could be quite different. The universe is child's play for Him. But our sins are a life-sized problem for Him. The point is: the universe is not a moral issue, and our sins are. God is bound by nothing but Himself. His omnipotence in no way binds Him to govern the universe. On the contrary, in governing the universe, He lives out His omnipotence and His faithfulness.

However, His love, His justice, and His truth do bind Him to simply forget about human sins. His love, justice, and truth demand that He deal with them. And the only way He could deal with them was for Himself to take the sins of people onto Himself, as a Man, for people, so that His love, His justice, and His truth would be simultaneously satisfied.

However, He remains dependent on man in one respect. And that is that man himself agrees to this solution. For only then this solution has legal validity within God's plan of salvation. It is up to you to give God that legal validity for His plan of salvation for you. Will you please pass it on to God?

"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:8,9)

All people

'For all have sinned...'

Nowhere do we find more generalizing statements than in the Bible. When a rich young man approaches Jesus and addresses Him as "good Teacher," Jesus's first reaction is to ask, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except One, God..." According to Jesus, no one is good, not a single person. Only God. He's saying quite a lot there! In Paul's letter to the Romans, too, all humanity is tarred with the same brush: "For there is no one who does good. There is no one righteous, no, not one. There is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks God. They have all gone astray; together they have become worthless. There is no one who does good, not even one." (Rom.3:9-12) That, according to Paul, is also the reason for death—not the sun, not air pollution, not bad food, but: “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and so death came to all men, because all sinned.” (Rom.5:12)

There is only one reason why the Bible can make such generalizing statements: it is not the word of man, but the word of God. And God is omniscient because He creates and sustains the universe in all its facets, from the largest galaxies to the tiniest particles, moment by moment. Therefore, He knows everything about everyone, down to the deepest stirrings of the soul.

That is why David cries out (Psalm 139):

'O LORD, you have searched me and known me.

You know my sitting down and my rising up,

You understand my thoughts from afar.

You search my path and my lying down,

You are familiar with all my ways.” Even before a word is on my tongue,

See, Lord, you know everything.

You hem me in behind and before,

you lay your hand upon me.

This knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too high, I cannot reach it.

Where can I go from your Spirit,

where can I flee from your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, you are there;

if I lie down in the grave, behold, you are there.

If I take the wings of the morning,

if I dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

even there your hand will lead me,

and your right hand will hold me.

If I say, "Yes, darkness will swallow me up!"

then the night is light around me.

Even the darkness is not dark for you,

but the night shines as the day,

the darkness is as the light.

For you created my inward parts,

knit me in my mother's womb.'

One day, every human being will come to the startling discovery that all the information about every second of his entire life, from birth to death, both inside and out, is stored somewhere and, even more shocking, is being retrieved and used as evidence. Then "books will be opened"! (Rev.20:12)That will be a bitter pill to swallow. Fortunately, God has already indicated that every human being will be weighed and found wanting. And fortunately, God has found a solution for every person willing to face the truth about God and himself. That solution is that the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth Himself would descend to earth in person as a human being, something humanity commemorates annually at Christmas. However, this is not just about the baby in the stable, but much more about the perfect life of that baby that followed in the 30+ years that followed, and especially about the death in which that life ended: death on the cross. Hanging between heaven and earth, Jesus paid God the immensely high price for the guilt that people had incurred through their shortcomings.

Because Christ Himself is also God, the reckoning on the cross was essentially an internal matter within God Himself. The blood of the cross was God's own blood. (Acts 20:28) Something happened there that no human can ever fathom. That is why the cross was enveloped in impenetrable darkness for three hours (Mathew 27:45). For everyone who accepts this sacrifice of Christ in faith, God has dealt with Christ and blotted out the "handwriting that testified against him." (Col.2:14) He is reconciled to God. His name is written "in the Lamb's book of life." (Rev.13:8) The Lamb represents Jesus, who, with the sacrifice of his life, blots out the sins of all who believe in Him (John 1:36). In a generalizing text, Paul summarizes this enormous miracle of grace as follows:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God has set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood.”

The Bible generalizes not only in God’s judgment of people but also in the solution God offers to people. All have sinned. And all can be justified. God’s offer applies to everyone. Jesus didn’t die just for churchgoers. He didn’t die just for spiritual people, not just for observant people, not only for the virtuous, not only for the law-abiding, not only for the utterly honest, not only for the gullible, not only for the conscientious, not only for the guilty, not only for the good, not only for the dejected, not only for the self-assured. No, He died for all people. (2 Cor.5:14,15)

The only requirement is to acknowledge God's Word and accept His offer. Why would you pass up such an offer of unimaginable grace?

Infinite

'Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; his greatness is unsearchable.' (Psalm 145:3,4)

God is infinitely great. But what is infinite? What is the meaning of God as an infinite Being? It means that God is all-encompassing, all-determining, and all-pervading. That all things are brought forth by Him from His eternal Being in the temporal reality we call the "universe." "In Him we live and move and have our being," says Paul  (Acts 17:28). He is the One who gives to all "life and breath and all things." (Acts 17:25). He, that is, Jesus Christ, the Almighty, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Eternal God, who became Man. "In Him all things were created, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." (Col.1:16,17)

Here, Paul describes all the laws that hold together, govern, and develop all things in our universe. There have been profound thinkers who discovered a fixed number of "sets" of laws: (1) the laws of numbers, (2) the laws of space, (3) the laws of motion, (4) the laws of energy or matter, (5) the laws of biological life, (6) the laws of sensation, (7) the laws of feeling, emotions, (8) the laws of reason, thought, (9) the laws of power and culture, (10) the laws of language, (11) the laws of the social, (12) the laws of the economic, (13) the laws of the aesthetic (beauty), (14) the laws of the legal, (15) the laws of the ethical, (16) the laws of faith. Essentially, these sets of laws are nothing more than aspects of the reality in which we live. And between all these different aspects, which are inherent to our universe, there are also countless connections and interactions.

The laws within all these aspects and all their interconnections are completely fixed. It is a pattern imposed by the Creator upon His creation, to which everything continually conforms. This pattern is followed so consistently and with such iron discipline by the Creator that it seems as if He were not there. It is as if everything He continually calls into being exists within itself. It seems as if the universe has existed eternally and will exist eternally. By creating a universe that appears infinite, both in size and time, and that, down to the behavior of its tiniest parts, consistently conforms to the laws He established, the Creator has made Himself almost invisible. Almost, because through reason and faith, humanity can know Who the Creator is. “For since the creation of the world, His invisible qualities, His eternal power and Godhead, have been clearly seen, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”

The reason God constructed our universe in such a way, in a seeming absence of Himself, while that creation simultaneously exemplifies His eternal power and Godhead, is that humanity would seek Him and find Him and live by faith in Him. “He appointed the appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.” God wants to be sought and found by humanity and to relate to humanity based on faith. “Seek, and you will find,” Jesus tells his listeners.

It seems, again, that the seeking originates with humanity. However, the seeking originates with God. He is like the Shepherd, who leaves the 99 sheep in the pasture to go and seek the one. The fact that you're reading this means God is searching for you. Of course, you are searching for God. But God has so ordered and guided the circumstances in your life that you began searching.

Back to God's infinite greatness. It extends from the very smallest to the very largest. Multiple dimensions are involved, in addition to all the laws mentioned above. Space has three dimensions: height x length x width. Time can also be considered a dimension. The smallest unit of space is the Planck, 1.616199 x 10^(-35) meters. There are 0.16 quadrillion trillion Planck distances in a meter. How incredibly small that is becomes clear when you compare it to a proton, a particle of an atom. If this atomic particle were to be blown up to the size of the universe, the Planck would be about the size of a human being. Elsewhere on this site, it has already been indicated that time is also composed of very small units of time fractions, and that in a single second, half a billion x quadrillion x trillion of these time fractions (Planck moments) pass: 5.39 * 10^(-44).

From the very smallest to the very largest: the universe. The size of the visible universe, measured in light-years, is estimated at 92 billion light-years. One light-year is 9,500 billion kilometers. That is 92 x 10^(9) x 9.5 x 10^(12) = 874 x 10^(21) kilometers, or 874 trillion kilometers.

If we combine all this data, we arrive at such absurd numbers that it is absolutely pointless to even attempt to understand them. You can calculate a number, but a number tells you absolutely nothing. You then arrive at the force and information necessary for maintaining and controlling all the laws for 2.7 x 10^(186) cubic Planck distances. That's 2.7 trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion of the tiniest space particles. The laws governing all these space particles must be kept in harmony with each other half a billion quadrillion trillion times per second. This is not to mention all the forces that hold matter together and that sustain space and all movements within it. This presupposes an unimaginable amount of strength, power, wisdom, and knowledge. Everything, whether stationary or moving, must be constantly and logically coordinated, fraction by fraction of time. God could—if He so desired—suddenly exchange today's situation with that of the 1920s, for example. But He doesn't do so because He is completely consistent and faithful to the laws He Himself established. "Holy, holy, holy," the four living creatures in and around His throne cry out.

But there comes a moment when the laws are suddenly broken. "I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep. But we will all be changed, in a fraction of a time..." Paul literally says here: "in an atom of time." In the tiniest moment of time, believers who have accepted Jesus will be changed and carried away in the rapture of the church. They, along with all who have fallen asleep in Christ and have been raised from the graves, will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so they will always be with the Lord.

In calculating the enormous amount of information, power, and force required for the governance of creation, we have only discussed the visible reality above. There is also an invisible reality of thousands of thousands and tens of thousands of tens of thousands of angels. All of this is said to have been created "through Him and for Him" and to exist together "in Him." Him, He, that is, the Son, Jesus Christ, "whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds." This One, who is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His Being, and who upholds all things by the word of His power, having by Himself purified sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…’. We find three important observations here: (1) past – ‘through whom He made the worlds’, (2) present – ‘who upholds all things by the word of His power’, and (3) future – ‘whom He has appointed heir of all things’.

And there is something else. He has (4) ‘brought about the purification of sins’. For how do we know that things do not exist in themselves but rest in the hand of the Almighty? We know this not only from the enormous complexity of all things but also from the aging process to which creation is subjected and for which humanity itself is responsible, having turned away from the Creator and become a follower of the great rebel from heaven, Lucifer. Therefore, God has ‘subjected the entire universe to futility’. The laws that God Himself established for the universe are making it a terminal state. Death reigns supreme, in every respect. Even stars die and turn into black holes. Entropy is increasing. More and more information is being lost.

The tensions evident in society today also point to an approaching end for the current system. Many of these tensions are related to the size of humanity. That is the major problem that the devil-controlled elite wants to solve once and for all. Fearing the finiteness of the planet's natural resources and knowing that a fanning out of humanity across the universe is utterly impossible (almost all NASA information is disinformation—obviously—they occasionally drop hints), a plan was put into motion at the end of 2019 that has been decades in the making. The world's population must be reduced to small, manageable proportions, and they, the world's elite, will determine who will be part of that population. And that's not ordinary people like you and me.

However, God Himself has accomplished the cleansing of sins by paying the price as a Man on earth for everyone who seeks and finds Him. If you seek and find Him, you will receive eternal life. This means being assured of a place in God's plans and in God's worlds for all eternity. He has much more planned for this universe beyond this world. The Bible speaks of "ages of ages," meaning a long series of eras in which He reveals Himself again and again. His plans for the current "age" are drawing to a close. The current era fits almost seamlessly into those plans.

The Book of Revelation shows how the endgame will unfold with humanity, led by God's adversary, attempting to build a global Utopia on its own, using its own knowledge and technology, thereby going against God's order of creation. However, it is a Utopia of totalitarian control by a small elite over the masses. That Utopia will last even shorter than Hitler's "millennium." Those who allow themselves to be led by Satan in an unimaginable selfishness and who are currently subjecting the world to totalitarian control will be dealt with once and for all. For a very short time, about 3.5 years, they will be given some leeway, but then it will be over, and God will come with the universal kingdom of His Son, Jesus Christ. The infinitely great, all-determining, all-controlling, all-pervading God—how dare they conspire against Him?

The choice is yours. Who will you choose? The time for postponing that choice is almost over. We are rapidly approaching the time that will force you to make a choice: God or Satan. Understand one thing: God and Satan are not two equal forces balancing each other, not yin and yang. God is infinitely great, the great Creator, Ruler, and Power above, behind, and beneath all that exists, from the smallest to the greatest, in the visible and invisible worlds. Satan is just one of billions of created beings, who are completely dependent on God for their existence and can do absolutely nothing without God. Moreover, Satan seeks your downfall, and God seeks your salvation. Doesn't all of this make the choice remarkably simple? Only a world of misinformation can keep you from making the right choice, which is in your own eternal best interest…

Plandemic

'For it shall be done with the violent, and the mocker shall perish, and all who plot evil shall be cut off, those who declare a man guilty for a word and lay snares in the gate for those who stand for justice, and who push aside with vain assertions those who have justice on their side.' (Isaiah 29:20,21)

It should be clear. The plandemic has been carefully prepared for years by powerful networks behind the scenes, with immeasurable power and infinite money—because they have the money-creating banking system in their pockets. The only hope for any human being is to open one's eyes to the reality of the Book of Revelation, in which what is now unfolding worldwide was predicted 2,000 years ago. The secret societies, which have planned and organized everything in silence for years and which are now coordinating everything with all their agents in key positions, are presented there as four horsemen. The horsemen of the Apocalypse. These horsemen originate from the horsemen of the Middle Ages, the knights of the Templar Order, who went underground after the attack on their stronghold by the French king in the thirteenth century and have remained there to this day. Going back even further, we are dealing with offshoots of the Roman Empire, together with the Roman Catholic Church.

But their power is greater than ever due to a conglomerate of interconnected secret networks. The top bosses of those networks want the world for themselves and have begun to exterminate the rest of humanity, from the bottom up. Many in the networks will not survive either, only they do not know it yet. The traitors betray – a well-known phenomenon in history, into which traitors fall time and again. The four horsemen of the Apocalypse are recognizable:

(1) White horse: divine intervention on earth to save his people, who are threatened with total annihilation, and ultimately grant them victory. The necessity of victory is clearly seen in the genocide of Palestinians in Palestine.

(2) Red horse: Reaction to the divine intervention. People are being pitted against one another to the point of bloodshed, along numerous dividing lines throughout society. An important ingredient is the influx of refugees, who will be pitted against the native population. But wars between nations are also on the agenda, 'people against people and kingdom against kingdom,' as Jesus said in Mt. 24:7.

(3) Black horse: Cutting off food supply lines, causing scarcity and hunger. Just look at all those ships off coasts, the empty shelves, and the rising inflation.

(4) Pale horse: Death and destruction through all the foregoing and through 'a great sword,' the guillotine will be brought out, and 'infectious diseases,' not an innocent flu, like in 2020, but a demonic elixir of poison, poison, and more poison with endless (side) effects. The plan is: Within a few years, everyone will be dead except for the illustrious company that believes it possesses the right genes to take the next step in the so-called evolutionary process, with infinite life in prospect. They can fill the world up to their self-proclaimed maximum of 500 million. Oh yes, all websites indicate that this is supposed to be the starting point after an 'apocalyptic event'. But what if they orchestrated that 'apocalyptic event' themselves?

However: God is going to thwart their plans. A global earthquake, devastating volcanism, and rampaging meteorites will destroy a large part of the built infrastructure. With what remains, they are allowed to have a small-scale party for another three and a half years, under the leadership of Satan, with the cult of their idol, the embodiment of 'Lucifer', called 'the beast' in the Bible, to which you are only invited with a special 'tattoo', namely 666. After that, it is over, and Jesus Christ puts an end to it for good. The leaders go directly to hell for eternity—possibly, through AI and all their gene manipulation, they have an infinite existence in the meantime. But that will be an infinite existence in a pool of fire. All other opponents of Jesus will be killed and judged after a thousand-year reign in peace and justice.

All of this is going to happen. Who would have thought two years ago that what is happening now would be possible? To the same extent, the entire rest of Revelation will also become reality, up to and including Revelation 20:15! There is only one rational option for every human being: repentance to God and faith in Jesus Christ. All who believe in Him are not judged but have passed from death into life and will be allowed to live with Him for eternity, sharing in His glory (Col.3:4). We know that when He is revealed, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is (1 John 3:2). If you accept Jesus as Savior and Lord, you may reign with Him for 1,000 years over an earth cleansed of all wretched people (2 Tim.2:12). Wouldn't you want that? Why then didn't you accept this offer?

Key

Christ gave you the key of the door in your heart to God. That door is locked. Why is your heart locked, and what can you do to open it?

The door of your heart is locked by what the Bible calls 'sins.' Through disobedience and unrighteousness, a hermetic separation arose between you and God (Isaiah 59:1,2). You are imperfect (Romans 3:9-12) and sometimes think, say, and do wrong things. God is perfect and holy, too pure of eyes that He could see evil (Hab.1:13).

Christ took all guilt upon Himself and carried the sins of people on the cross (1 Peter 2:24). With that, He gave you the key to your heart to God. You no longer need to be afraid of God. You can get to know God as a loving Father. The only thing you need to do is put the key in the lock, turn it, and step from darkness into light. Nothing more.

No less either. God does not force the lock from the outside. God is not a burglar. God does not force Himself upon you. He does, however, knock on the door of your heart (Rev.3:20). He then waits for your response. The essence of His creation is precisely that He has given people free will, in which they may decide for themselves. Love is impossible without freedom.

Love and freedom are two sides of a coin. If you auction off one side, the coin is worthless, even if the other side remains intact. That is why God's message to humanity is that He loved the world so much that He gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). Faith is a choice made in freedom. God does not force Himself upon you in His creation but is present in the background. 'Faith' is required, a search for Him as a free choice.

God's love is for all people, but He does not overwhelm you with it. He gives you the key to the door in your heart leading to Him. That key is faith (Rom.5:20). If you trust that God exists and take the step towards Him, you will experience that God is love.

Hell

For all of humanity, there are two destinations (Mathew 7:13, 14): an eternity in harmony with God or an eternity in disharmony with God. Does man have any influence on his destiny, and if so, how?

Disharmony is the natural state of every human being. Man stands with his back to God and does not acknowledge God's authority. In essence, man thereby makes himself an enemy of God. And even if man wanted to, he is unable to find God (1 Cor.1:21), to understand God (1 Cor.2:14), or to please God (Romans 8:8). Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, within you there is a great distance from God. Whether it sinks in or not, you understand absolutely nothing about God. And no matter how hard you try, you cannot get into God's good graces based on your own achievements.

There is only one salvation: Jesus Christ. He came to deliver people from their state of total lostness. To realize this, He was born as a Man to do as a Man what we all had to do: Love God above all else and our neighbor as ourselves (Mathew 22:37-40), but which none of us has ever succeeded in - not even close (Romans 3:9-12). In this state of moral perfection, He walked the path of suffering on the cross. And on the cross, He took our state of failure upon Himself, and in that state of failure, He bore the judgment upon it: He died.

In summary: God gave his Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). The perfection of His life and of His sacrifice has been demonstrated by His resurrection from the dead (Acts 2:24, Romans 4:25), a resurrection to eternal life (John 5:29) that He will share with all who believe in Him. Through faith in Him, you exchange your own failure for His perfection, and harmony with God arises that can never be taken away from you. Your name is written in the book of life (Revelation 13:8).

The moment is coming when the dead will stand before the great white throne (Revelation 20:10-15). All have been raised to life again and are being judged, based on every detail of their lives, by the Son of Man, who is also God Himself. Books are being opened; these are the life stories of all these people. Heaven and earth have fled from the face of Him who sits on the throne. There is nothing left to hide behind. Are you among them too? Then there is another book, which is also being opened, a book of very great importance: the book of life.

Everyone whose name is not found in the book of life is cast into the lake of fire. What is that, the lake of fire? Is it hell? Does God cast all people who have not believed in Jesus into hell? Is that not unnecessarily cruel? Creation is the outward manifestation of God's action, the intermediary between God and man. When God rolls up Creation like a robe and puts it away, there is no longer an intermediary between God and man. The moment will come when the elements will melt away burning. Then a new heaven and a new earth will come to light in which God will be ‘all and in all’. God will be present much more directly.

But God is a consuming fire. God is too pure of eyes to be able to see evil. For people who have not allowed themselves to be reconciled with God through Jesus, the direct presence of God is unbearable, like hell. It is not about an unnecessarily cruel punishment but about an inescapable reality: God is God and you are you, and that is jarring. It is jarring all the more because you did not want to accept God's only salvation. That remains a source of friction, as long as you continue to exist after God's final judgment, some for 'centuries of centuries'.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.' (John 3:19)

Ietsism

If you ask people about their belief in God, about 40% of Western people will answer that there is ‘something’, without knowing what it is.

Their intuition tells them that reality could not simply have arisen out of nothing and that death as an absolute end makes existence very meaningless and, in many cases, very unjust. But what exactly is that mysterious 'something' hiding behind the door of the impressive universe?

The people who believe that there is 'something' have no idea what lies behind the door of the unknown. Since 1997, this unspecified belief in ‘something’ has been known as ‘IETSISM’. What this ‘something’ is supposed to be eludes the ietsists. With a variation on John 1, their creed is as follows:

'In the beginning was Something and Something was with Something and Something was Something. This was in the beginning with Something. And through Something all things came into being and without Something nothing came into being that has come into being.'

The 'ietsists' resemble the inhabitants of Athens in the first decades of our era. They had erected an altar for an unknown god, 'something' that they had overlooked. They feared that their Pantheon might not contain all the gods entitled to their worship and that they had forgotten one. Perhaps there was still 'something' to which sacrifices had to be made. Paul used the Athenian 'ietsism'—the unknown god—to preach the gospel. In Acts 17, we read his proclamation:

'What you worship without knowing it, that I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, He who is Lord of heaven and earth, is not cared for by human hands as if He needed anything, since He Himself gives life and breath and everything to all.' (Acts 17:23-25)

For the ietsists, the search for what lies behind their belief in 'something' lasts their entire lives. They find it difficult to make a choice. They are of the opinion that they can never, ever find out Who or What the 'Something' exactly is. Their 'ietsism' is a lifetime search process. And they have a point there. After a somewhat disappointing experience with the skeptical Athenians, Paul concluded in one of his letters:

‘For since in the wisdom of God the world did not come to a knowledge of God through wisdom, it pleased God through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe. For the Jews want signs and the Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ, the Crucified…’ (1 Corinthians 1:21,22)

You do not encounter the ‘Great Something’ in treatises on the universe. You do not come across Him in philosophical literature. You do not find Him in books about all kinds of mysticism or occultism, and not even in theology books. Nor do you discover Him through an extensive search for the truth on the internet. You find Him only in the inner chamber of your own heart. Have you ever tried to pray? Go to Him and acknowledge that you are but a small human being. The unknown ‘Something’ that lies hidden behind the universe and nature is infinitely greater than the wildest notions you could form of Him. You can encounter that unimaginably great ‘Something’ in ‘the Crucified’. Through Him, you will discover the awe-inspiring Greatness hidden within the ‘Something’ that is so unknown to many people. He wants to give you an eternity in which you can discover more and more of that ‘Grandiose Something’.

'And He made from one blood the whole human race to dwell upon the whole earth; and He determined the times allotted to them beforehand, and the boundaries of their dwelling place, so that they might seek the Lord, if perhaps they might find Him by groping, though He is not far from each of us. For in Him we live, move, and have our being...' (Acts17:27)

As God

‘If God sends people to hell who have not believed in Jesus but have tried to live well, then I do not need that God.’

Perhaps you do not accept that God demands that people believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. You do not understand why God can save people solely on the basis of faith in the name of Jesus. And because you do not understand that, you do not agree with it. But is that justified?

Now, the point here is not to show why God considers it so important that people believe in His Son and allow Him into their lives. We limit ourselves here to the observation that God indeed demands this (John 3:36) and that everyone who believes in Him is saved and that everyone who does not believe in Him is lost, because of works that fall short. In Revelation 20, we see all the dead, who had not previously been raised from the dead, standing before the great white throne of God. Next, we read:

‘And the dead were judged according to what was written in the books, according to their works…. And if anyone was not found to be inscribed in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.’ (Revelation 20:15)

If you wish to be judged on the basis of works and you let it come to that, then you will indeed be judged on that basis. In ‘the books’, all the works of all people are meticulously recorded, including yours. All earthly intelligence services pale in comparison. And if your personal mentality is the basis of your salvation, then you will discover before the great white throne that your attitude towards life fell short. All people ‘come short of the glory of God’ (Romans 3:23). Therefore, those who are not written in the book of life are condemned to the lake of fire. Everyone’s works fall short. We have discussed the inevitability of the lake of fire above.

Besides ‘the books’, containing information about human lives, there is another book, the book of life. However, it contains only the names of those who have believed in the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have not believed in Jesus and have turned your back on Him your entire life, your name is not among them. You consider it unjust of God that this influences the judgment. Before the great white throne, you would never dream of arguing with God about the way He judges you. But as long as it has not yet come to that, you can postpone making a choice for Jesus for a while or reject it for good.

The thought is: ‘God must not judge me in that way. That is not just. I want nothing to do with such a God.’

But who actually determines the rules of the universe, God the Creator? Or man, the creature, you? Is it God who must meet your demands, or must you meet God’s demands? Do you not accept God, but must God accept you? Do you stand above God, or does God stand above you? Do you want to be judged based on your personal mentality? If your attitude towards life is that God must meet your demands, then that in itself will become a major problem later on, before the great white throne. You think: ‘If God is like this, then…’ The root of all sin is pride, wanting to be equal to God. To be like God. It is even worse: you think: ‘If God is like this, then…’ In essence, you even want to rise above God and determine how He should judge…?

Many people live with the idea of a God they have invented themselves. It is a God in their own image and their own likeness. But the truth is exactly the opposite.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him.’ (Gen.1:27)

No human being is capable of faithfully representing that image and likeness. Only Jesus Christ. By dying for you on the cross, He wanted to give you a share in His perfection. That is the reason why you must accept Him. God has done everything possible to prevent Him from having to judge you.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new’. (2 Cor.5:17)

Hero

If you see the oppression of the poor and the deprivation of law and justice in the region, do not be bewildered by that phenomenon. For a high-ranking official watches over another high-ranking official, and those placed even higher watch over them. (Eccl.5:7)

In the year 2021, many people are disappointed. Disappointed in the politicians, the high-flyers of society. Not only did politicians fail to keep their promises time and again for years. Since 2020, politicians have begun to severely suppress the people with corona measures that destroy much more than they solve—if anything can be solved at all, for the flu is timeless and 2020 is not significantly different from many previous years. The people are being psychologically and economically oppressed, and whoever resists this through demonstrations and civil disobedience also experiences physical oppression. After all, the authorities hold the monopoly on violence. Why is all this happening? And will it ever end? It seems as if every administrator who enters the chambers of power transforms into a ruthless monster that shows no regard whatsoever for the interests of the citizens and seeks only the interests of ‘something’ higher than themselves, higher than parliament and cabinet, something that holds the actual power. These are the bodies and institutions known in the media as the lobbyists for major multinationals in the pharmaceutical, energy, and financial sectors. These multinationals are in the hands of a very small group of people with absolute power. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Democracy does not exist. Politicians who appear to come from the people are actually parachuted in from the top of power. Behind the scenes, important positions in government and parliament are granted only to people who are loyal to the system of the actual power holders. They are ‘bought and paid for’. Election promises are often barely reflected in coalition agreements. The outcomes of parliamentary debates are predetermined. Politicians who do not toe the line are stigmatized. Even the opposition is poisoned by politicians who put on a show without intending to ever truly stand in the way of the elite. If they did intend to, they would either never have stood a chance of securing a place in power, or would have been eliminated in time, or would be eliminated the very moment their resistance to power became public.

That is why democracy is essentially nothing more than a puppet show. What can humanity do against the overwhelming dominance of the 0.01% (or smaller), who possess the vast majority of the world's capital? What can the unsuspecting citizen do against an elite that has built an organizational structure behind the scenes with terrifying blind obedience? How does the little man defend himself against a brilliant cabal that employs every social, psychological, and technological method to optimize a well-oiled control mechanism? Humanity stands no chance whatsoever. Arguments such as ‘We are billions, they are only a few thousand’ fail to recognize the difference between the total control structure of power and the total absence of organization among the unsuspecting civilian population. Every leader emerges from the age-old control mechanism, no matter how different that person may seem from other leaders.

What humanity needs is a hero who rises from the bottom. A movement from the roots of society, from the midst of small, insignificant citizens. The unsuspecting masses need a man who is not a puppet of the elite, someone who comes from within them and who can make a stand on their behalf against the manipulative and oppressive rulers. Well, this man has risen. Two thousand years ago. His name: Jesus Christ. His birth: in total poverty. His youth: in an insignificant hole. His distance from the epicenter of power: total opposition. His judgment of the elite: total condemnation. His message: the total lostness of the world. His solution: total surrender to Him. His greatest enemies: sin, death, and Satan. His end: the cross. His victory: destruction of sin, death, and Satan. His power: all power in heaven and on earth. His future: King of kings and Lord of lords. His identity: Son of God.

Which politician can represent your interests for just 1%? Perhaps the interplay of powers leads to a monthly benefit of €100 on the payslip. In most cases, that gain quickly evaporates due to rising energy and municipal tax prices or inflation. Politicians can do virtually nothing for you. Jesus does everything. Yet many people spend their lives endlessly hoping, fighting, and lobbying for political parties while thinking that Jesus is irrelevant.
