Daniel 9:27

In Short - Interpretation

He = 'the prince that shall come' of whom the people 'will destroy the city and the sancuary' = The US-president, the US being the last heir of Rome, that destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.

The covenant = The 1917 Balfour declariation. The then English empire officially promising a 'homeland for the Jews' to the world's central bankers, represented by Rothschild to which the declaration was made.

Many = the people of Daniel, the true Jews, the Palestinians - 'thy people and upon thy holy city', was the subject of the prophecy, told by the angel to Daniel.

One week = The last 7 years before the return of Jesus, the 70th week (period of 7 years) of the prophecy of 70 weeks. 

Make (the covenant) heavy (to many) - The genocidal attack on the Palestinians that started on October 7, 2023 

'The midst of the week' = 3.5 years after the start of the week, which - if it started on October 7, 2023, would be on April 7, 2027.

'the sacrifice and the oblation' - Religious rituals in honor of the most High 

'...he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease...' - The US-president behind the physical of the Al Aqsa to Muslims

'Abominations' - Acts of idolatry, where formerly the most High had been served.

'the overspreading of abominations' - Either the extreme forms of idolatry (in the worship of the 'emperor', the US-president) or the protection of idolatry through military and diplomatic force.

'he shall make it desolate' - The provocation of Iran by Israeli and US acts of idolatry in the Al Aqsa leading up to the destruction of Israel. 

'even until the consummation' -  The land Israel will largely remain destroyed until the end of the '70th week', until the return of Jesus.

'and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate' - God's final judgment will rain down upon Israel, that had been turned into a wasteland.

 

In Short - Explanation

As last heir of the Roman empire, the US-president will for 7 years fiercely attack the people of the most High, the true Jews, the Palestinians. The 7 years will end in the return of Jesus. The US-attack on Palestinians is the execution of a century old contract with the world's central bankers, called the Balfour declaration of 1917. The attack will be executed through the US-ally Israel, that has taken possession of the land of the Palestinians. Three and a half year after the start of the attack, the religious observance of Palestinians in the Al Aqsa would be barred and instead the US-president would have himself worshiped by the Israeli's that see him as the instrument for the realization of a third temple for the 'Jews', of which they adopted the religion for the sake of domination of the land. The desecration of the Al Aqsa will bring the already existing tensions with Iran to a boiling point. Iran will be provoked to invade Israel and to completely destroy it. It will largely remain desolate till the end of the 7 years and the return of Jesus. Then God's judgment will rain down upon it, destroying all rebuilt structures on what will be largely a wasteland.

 

Possible timeline

If the 'last week' of 7 years started with the events of October 7, 2023, then the midst of the week will be on April 7, 2027 and the end of the week will be on October 7, 2030.

Until recently, our assumption was that the start of the Netanyahu regime on December 29, 2022 was the start of the 70th week of Daniel. Reaching the 30th of June 2026 (3.5 years later), the events described in Daniel 9:27 had not happened. Therefore, the week cannot have started at the end of 2022. The next plausible starting date for the 70th week is October 7, 2023, when the situation of Palestinians sharply deteriorated. Facts on the ground are of course a better indication of the worsening of treatment than the start of a new government. Moreover, October 7 coincided with a sign in the stars in the form of a comet traveling over the tail of Leo, piercing Virgo in her chest and stomach, ending at the tail of the great serpent.

 

The last heir of Rome

Who is themysterious 'he' with which Daniel 9:27 starts? The 'he' refers back to the previous verse in which two persons are mentioned: (1) 'Messiah' who would be cut off, but not for Himself and (2) 'the prince that shall come' of whom the people would destroy the city and the sanctuary. There are three reasons why the 'he' refers back to the prince to come and not to Messiah:

1. The prince to come is the last one named before the 'he' in verse 27. Usually a reference goes back to the last item or person mentioned

2. The prince to come of verse 26 points foreward to the actions of the mysterious 'he' in verse 27.

3. The actions described in Daniel 9:27 are not applicable to Messiah. Nowhere in bible prophecy is suggested that Messiah would make a covenant heavy for people. Instead, the new covenant that Messiah would make with his people would release them from their sins and their old deplorable self, as stated in Jeremiah 31:31-33. The one making things heavy for the people of God would be the ruler of the empire, as decribed in Daniel 7 and in Revelation 12.

So, if the 'he' refers to a coming Roman ruler, when did this ruler arrive at the scene? Or hasn't he arrived yet? The events of Daniel 9:27 are often applied to the destruction of the city and the sanctuary by Roman legions in 70 AD, which would make emperor Titus the 'he' with which Daniel 9:27 starts. That however makes no sense for the taking down of Jerusalem would happen by a people of a 'prince that shall come'. That prince would not have arrived yet when the Roman legions broke down Jerusalem. Therefore Daniel 9:27 must refer to a period later in history. There are many other problems with the application of Daniel 9:27 to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, which we will discuss below.

For the identity of this mysterious 'he', one can also point to emperor Hadrian, who crushed a renewed Jewish rebellion from autumn 132 AD till summer 136 AD (the Bar Kokhba revolt). There are two reasons why this revolt cannot be a fulfillment of Daniel 9:27. (1) This Roman-Jewish war only lasted 3.75 years and not 7 years, as seen in verse 27, the 'week' being a period of 7 years. (2) This war did not lead up to the 'consummation', the 'end', to which the actions of the mysterious 'he' will lead. After the Bar Kokhba revolt Jewish life in the land continued, however the name of the land was changed from Judea to Palestine. For 2 years, until 138 AD, the Jews were barred from the regions surrounding Jerusalem. But this policy of exile was relaxed after the death of Hadrian in 138 AD. In other parts of present day Israel, many Jewish communities still thrived. In the Roman empire after the Jewish wars, Jews continued to live in former Judea, Galilee and Samaria. 'The ban was not strictly enforced and a slow trickle of Jews settled in the city over the subsequent centuries'. No consummation had come. The period of the revolt being too short and not ending in 'consummation' makes emperor Hadrian unfit as the identity of the obscure 'he' in Daniel 9:27. 

What the 'he' absolutely cannot refer to, is the Muslim conqerereunhistoric invention by Zionists of an exile in the seventh century CE by the Muslim conquerers. This imaginary expulsion of Jews from the land was meant to replace the baseless religious narrative about a mass expulsion after the fall of the Second Temple. On top of that, even if there had been an Jewish exile, forced by Muslims, then these could not have represented the mysterious 'he' of Daniel 9:27 for these did not sprout from the people that had destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD, the Roman empire.

Since the year 0 AD, there never has been a mass expulsion of Jews, as had happened by Nebuchadnezzar at the fall of first temple around 600 BC. Of course there were Jews that were taken captive and brought to Rome as slaves (Luke 21:24) but many more stayed in their country. Many Christian Jews had obeyed Christ's warnings and fled when they saw the upcoming siege of Jerusalem (Luke 21:20,21). They returned after 3.5 years to their homeland.

We conclude that mysterious 'he', that is acting in Daniel 9:27, is still to come.  He will be related to the Roman empire as the last heir of it for he is the coming prince of whom the people 'destroyed the city and the sanctuary'. But where will he come from since the Roman empire seized to exist? The Roman empire went down in the nations of Europe. After that, these nations, one after the other, took over the heritage of empire, constantly fighting over it. Europe has always been a divided continent, seen in the ten toes of the statue in Nebuchadnezzar's dream (Daniel 2). They were the ten horns of the fourth beast (Rome) in Daniel's dream (Daniel 7). And from among these ten horns came an eleventh 'little horn' that grew bigger than the ten older ones. According to Revelation 17, it even grew into the seventh head in finally into the complete beast. The USA started as 13 British colonies and gradually developed into a world empire. The USA is the last heir of the Roman empire. The 'prince that is to come' is the laste ruler of the US-empire. He will act in the Endtime as supreme tyrant until he will be crushed at the second coming of Jesus.

 

The Balfour Declaration

As last heir of the Roman empire, the US-president will fiercely attack the people of the most High, the true Jews, the Palestinians, as was prophesied in Daniel 7:21, 25 and Revelation 12:13). The most severe attack would last for a period of 7 years, the last of Daniel's 70 'weeks'. The attack comes as the execution of an already existing covenant. But what is this covenant? 

Shortly before the start of the 20th century, the USA had discovered the enormous power at its disposal, a power that was given to it by the dragon (satan - Revelation 13:2). Its enormous power became apparent in the total defeat of Spain in 1898 and the stripping of Spain of all of its colonies, Cuba, the Philipines. Then WWI broke out in which the then still magnificent British empire tried to restrain the upcoming power of Germany. But so enormous were the costs of the war that the British rulers had to beg the central bankers to save them by funding their war efforts and by bringing the US into the war. In return the British government promised the bankers to seek a homeland for the European Jews in Palestine. The letter in which this promise was made is known as the Balfour declaration. It was an exchange in 1917 between the British empire (represented by Lord Balfour) and Lord Rothschild. There are good reasons for this Balfour declaration to be the covenant of Daniel 9:27.

WWI left a totally impoverished Germany and Great Britain. Little more than 20 years later, WWII took from Great Britain the wealth that was left to them after WWI. Since the Bretton Woods agreement of 1944, the US took over the empire from Great Britain. As we already stated, the USA was the 'little horn' of Daniel 7 that subdued three of the ten older horns (Spain, Germany and Great Britain). The USA is the last heir of the Roman empire that will be obliterated at the second coming of Jesus.

Why did the central bankers, specifically the Rothschilds, want a homeland for the Jews? Were they indeed so concerned with the well-being of the Jewish race? Might this Jewish homeland be nothing but a smokescrean for the real motives of the central bankers? Because, what central bankers want is control over the world's resources. Therefore they used Europeans that claimed to be Jews to operate as their agents in the most strategic region in the world, coveted because of the vast resources of oil, which was becoming the black gold of the industrialized world.

So from 1917 onward, a century long suffering of the Palestinian people begun at the hand of Europeans that professed a Jewish identity. From many Jews worldwide came fierce opposition agains the idea of a 'national homeland for Jews'. Anti-Zionism Was Pioneered By Jews. In the thousands of years of diaspora the Jewish people had accustomed themselves to their lives amidst many other nations of the world and they felt the strife for a Jewish state in the Middle East (1) unlawful towards Palestinians (2) conflicting with their historic development (3) contradictory to their faith and religion and (4) a risk of triggering anti-semitism in the world. Despite this strong oppostition from Jews, the Zionists eventually succeeded in the establishment of a Jewish state, backed by central bankers and the US-empire. Two years after its creation, on September 3, 1947, under influence of powerful Zionists the US pressed the mandatory partition plan through the UN according to which the Palestinians had to give up more than half of their land. The UN, that was founded to prevent a repetition of the atrocities of WWII, laid the foundation for a regime of apartheid and genocide that would become much more violent and brutal than the Nazi's ever intended. And thus, since the Nakba of 1948, the long road of extreme suffering of the Palestinian people started.

Why would the more than 100 year old Balfour declaration be the 'covenant' meant in Daniel 9:27? The answer lies in the obscure 'he' with which the verse starts, the one that is heir of the Roman empire, the one of whom the people destroyed the city and the sanctuary (Daniel 9:26), the ruler of the Western world that inherited the Roman empire. In 1917 that was Great Britain, with Palestine just having come under its control through the collapse of the Ottoman empire. The Balfour declaration was made by the heir of Rome toward the financial oligargs of the world and it concerned 'the people and the city' of Daniel, the subject  of the Daniel 9 prophecy.  Since WWII the heritage of the Roman empire had shifted to the USA but the promise to the central bankers still stood and would be made much more brutal.

The covenant had to be something that was established within the realm of empirical powers and which would make life miserable to many of Daniel's people, the true offspring of old Israel. The Balfour declaration exactly fits these characteristics. The empire itself is bound by the agreement with the moneymasters of the world for the empire greatly rests upon their power. That is how the agreement came into being in the first place. That is why the agreement kept its power to steer the empire into the desired direction: to cleanse the holy land from Palestinians in order to get full control in the Middle East.

One could also point to other agreements that were made more recently, like the so called Abraham Accords. These accords are made under pressure of the US-empire by Muslim nations with Israel, by Muslim countries such as Bahrain and the UAE on September 15, 2020. Through these agreements, Muslim nations would normalize their diplomatic relations with Israel. These agreements however, are not the basis for what is happening within the state of Israel. They only could deteriate the situation for Palestinians based upon an agreement that already existed long before. The same is true for the 'clean break' document of 1996 in which a policy was prescribed to Israeli prime minister Netanyahu that would break the power of Muslim nations that were considered a threat, especially Iraq and Syria. The governments of both these countries have since then been destroyed, one through US-military force and the other through ISIS-terrorist proxies. These developments worsened the circumstances for Palestinians but the clean break document was not the covenant from which their deplorable conditions originated. For that, one has to go back to before 1948, the year of the Nakba in which more than 700.000 Palestinians were driven from their land, never to return. One has to go back to promises made by rulers of the empire to the powerhouses of the world, promises concerning the placing of hundreds of thousands of  so called 'Jews' on land that was already inhabited by what truly were Jews, but who were called Palestinians and Arabs.

 

The 'many'

Now that we have seen who the mysterious 'he' is and what the 'covenant' is, let us look at the 'many'. Daniel 9:27 says: 'He will make heavy the covenant to many...'. In fact we have already found the answer to this question at the end of the former point. The US-empire would execute the Balfour declaration, the promise to the world's central bankers about a 'Jewish homeland' in Palestine, while turning the lives of Palestinians into misery. The 'many' are the Palestinian people, which consist of the people that are most direct in line to old Israel. We already established above that there never was a total expulsion of Jews from the holy land. The Jews that lived in the diaspora had lived in the nations of the world long before the Romans took down Jerusalem in 70 AD. After the Roman-Jewish wars of 70 AD and 136 AD the Romans took captives toward Rome but they did not take the complete Jewish population into exile. The captivity concerned especially the inhabitants of Jerusalem and for some years, Jews were barred from the direct surroundings of Jerusalem. But Jewish life in the holy land continued and the Jews of the first centuries of our era are the ancestors of most  Palestinians. Therefore the Palestinians represent the people of Daniel, who, together with the city (Jerusalem, the holy land) are the subject of this prophecy.

On the other hand, the European 'Jews', that invaded the land in the wake of the Balfour declaration and UN resolution 181, that legelized the theft of more than half of Palestinian land, have a much less direct lineage toward old Israel than the Palestinians. Their history shows much assimilation with the peoples of Europe, watering down their Jewish DNA to less than 50% on avarage.

Zionists have acknowledged themselves that Palestinians are in fact Jews. In 1918, many years before the cause of zionism had been fully tried on the land of Palestine, the Zionists wanted to get the opposing Jews on board of their plans and argued that the Palestinians were in fact also Jews, whom they could join in the holy land. David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s future prime minister, and Itzhak Ben-Zvi, Israel’s future president, wrote a book entitled Eretz Israel in the Past and in the Present. In it, they wrote:

"The fellahin are not descendants of the Arab conquerors, who captured Eretz Israel and Syria in the seventh century CE. The Arab victors did not destroy the agricultural population they found in the country. They expelled only the alien Byzantine rulers, and did not touch the local population. Nor did the Arabs go in for settlement. Even in their former habitations, the Arabians did not engage in farming . . . They did not seek new lands on which to settle their peasantry, which hardly existed. Their whole interest in the new countries was political, religious and material: to rule, to propagate Islam and to collect taxes. . . .

To argue that after the conquest of Jerusalem by Titus and the failure of the Bar Kokhba revolt Jews altogether ceased to cultivate the land of Eretz Israel is to demonstrate complete ignorance The Jewish farmer, like any other farmer, was not easily torn from his soil, which had been watered with his sweat and the sweat of his forebears Despite the repression and suffering, the rural population remained unchanged."

About 20 years after this writing, circumstances had changed considerably and it had become clear that there was enormous opposition in the Arab world against the Zionist plans that were pushed under auspices of the Brittish government (who were holden to their 'Balfour declaration'). The plans to take large swaps of the country away from Palestinians had led to the widespread Palestinian revolt of 1936–1939. This necessitated a new narrative that suited the changed status quo. Therefore, since 1939 Zionists started to contradict their earlier writings and wove an imaginary exile during the seventh century by Muslim forces into the fabric of history, in order for the Palestinians to be no longer descendants of former Israel. For the Palestinians to be mere Arabs and not descendants of Jews, all the Jews had to be exiled long before. The illusionary tale of Zionists suddenly changed the Palestinians from Jews into mere Arabs. That would give Zionists a pseudo-historical basis to strip Palestinians from the right to the land.

But, whatever the status of Palestinians, stealing land from legal owners based on a religiously tainted promise by the most High about land, which had been left thousands of years before, is contrary to any law. Not to speak of the fact that not only had these European 'Jews' since long left the land but they had also forsaken the God that once would have promised them the land. The Zionists of the first hour were not religious. The fact that Palestinians have Jewish ancestors makes the situation even more outrageous: After thousands of years, those who left their homeland return  in order to steal it from those who never left.

And there is more. The European 'Jews' did not come on their own accord. They came as a result of a covenant, named the 'Balfour Declaration'. They came as a vanguard of the empire and of the central bankers. They came as agents to lay a beachhead in the Middle East for power projection of the empire, securing the vast wealth that was laid up in the oil reserves of the Gulf States, the discovery of which started in 1908. Gradually, the Gulf states all developed intimate relations with Israel and the empire behind it. Therefore, the history of the Palestinians is nothing but a continuation of the history of the Jewish people under Roman rulership in the first two ages of our era. The Palestinian revolt of 1936-1939 was a sequel to the two Jewish revolts in the Roman empire, that ended in respectively 70 AD and 136 AD.

The oppression of God's people, resulting from the Balfour Declaration, started with the denial of their national and political rights, and even their identity once the Ottoman empire was fallen and the British empire was in charge of the Levant with their 'British Mandate'. The Britisch forces took control of the Ottoman empire at the end of October, 2017 and the Balfour Declaration is dated November 2, 2017. So from the very first moment, the Britisch govermnent has been dedicated to the Zionist cause of the Rothschild bankers, of which they had become utterly dependant. The enormous bias within the declaration can easily been established by reading it:

"His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."

The declaration is clearly formulated from the Zionist viewpoint, naming the Jewish people and the Jews twice and refering to Palestinians as "non-Jewish communities". What is more important: the Jews are granted a 'national home' from the very outset, giving them a Jewish nation and statehood and all the priviliges and rights that go with it. But no statehood is secured for the Palestinians. Only that 'nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine'. The Palestinian rights could not have been formulated in more ambiguous terms. Not: 'We won't infringe on Palestinian rights' or 'we won't breach Palestinian rights' or 'we won't violate Palestinian rights'. No, 'we won't prejudice rights of existing Non-Jewish communities'. That could mean as much as: 'We do not know whether they have any rights but if they have any and they behave and allow us to take part of their land for the sake of a Jewish homeland, they might keep the other part of it'. And that is exactly how the Britisch government has handled the Palestinian rights. It has acted as if they had no rights at all.

Both the Zionists and the Palestinians understood the tremendous influence of the Balfour declaration. On November 2, 1918, The Zionist Commission in Jerusalem arranged a grand ceremony to celebrate the first anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. The Palestinian population directly perceived these festivities as an enormous threat to their country and the opposition to Zionism became the single most important agent in the growth of Arab nationalism in Palestine.  By the spring of 1919, Muslim-Christian Associations had been formed in several towns with the objects of opposing Zionism. By 1920 the prejudice of the British government in favor of Zionism had aroused the anger of Palestinians to such an extent that clashes with Zionists started to erupt. During four days of bloodshed in April of 1920, nine people died, five of them Jews; and 244 were wounded, 211 of them Jews.

The Balfour Declaration was the basis for the British Mandate, granted to the UK by the League of Nations, the forrunner of the UN. The British Mandate started in 1920. In it the 'Jewish national home' was mentioned multiple times, while it referred to the Palestinians as 'other sections'. As Wikipedia puts it: 'Though at the beginning of the Mandate they constituted a 90 percent majority of the population, the text (of the Mandate) only referred to  the Palestinians as "non-Jewish communities" that, though having civil and religious rights, were not given any national or political rights. As far as the League of Nations and the British were concerned the Palestinian Arabs were not a distinct people. In contrast the text included six articles with obligations for the mandatory power to foster and support a "national home" for the Jewish people. Moreover, a representative body of the Jewish people, the Jewish Agency for Israel, was recognised.'

During the 1920's and 1930's, more and more land was handed over to European Jews, who were backed by powerful central bankers. Until 1939 the British government followed a very pro-Zionist policy regarding Palestine, being fully under the influence of the Balfour Declaration and a new upcoming power, the pro-Zionist USA.  This eventually led to the already mentioned Palestinian uprising during 1936 - 1939, which was violently crushed by the British with help of about 20.000 Jewish fighters. During the 1920's and 1930's three Jewish fighting forces were established, which merged into the IDF after 1948. These Jewish gangs were engaged in devastating terrorist operations, against both the Palestinians and the English rulership. Jewish oppostition against Britain was aroused by the 'White Paper' of 1922, that sought to limit the immigration of Jews into Palestine as a reaction to Palestine opposition.

One might argue against the notion of an attack by 'the empire' on 'the many' by stating that it is present day Israel that oppresses the Palestinians and not 'the empire'. Indeed, Israel presents itself as an autonomous state with independancy, taking its own decisions. That is how it has been sold to the Western public for decades. The truth however is more complex. Under the surface of a so called independent state of Israel lie very strong ties with the forces that constitute the empire and that gave rise to the Jewish state. Sometimes, those ties come to the surface. In July 1919 US court justice  Louis Brandeis, who had been instrumental in obtaining the Balfour Declaration in return for bringing the United States into the war on the side of the Allies, visited British Military Headquarters on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. Brandeis is reported to have told that ordinances of the British military authorities should be submitted to the Zionist Commission. There we see the power of the upcoming US-empire, ordering the British to enable the Zionist cause.

Through the decades that followed, the bonds between the US-empire and Israel grew stonger and stronger. Since 9/11 the two nations have become indiscernable in their way of voting at the UN. What is even more telling is the complete diplomatic cover that the USA gives Israel, however horrific its actions. But the most telling unanimity between the US-empire and Israel is the enormous military and financial support that the US gives to its beloved ally, with a basic yearly donation of 3.8 billion dollars. In 2026, the cooperation between the two countries have reached the point that US-laws are in the making for the merger of the IDF with the US-military. I that way, the financial support of Israel by the US, to which has risen much opposition due to the Gaza Genocide, can go on uninterrupted, hidden to the public eye. Nowhere is the symbiotic relationshipe between the US and Israel better described than in Revelation 13:12 - 'And he (the second beast, Israel) exerciseth all the power of the first beast (the US) before him..."

Likewise, in the last days of the British empire, the Zionists were indistinguishable from the British power. In 1939 British forces were supported by 20.000 Jewish fighters in repressing the Palestinian uprising. The closeness to empire had one goal: the realization of a Jewish state. Many Jews fought alongside the Allied forces during WWII and acquired lots of skills and weapons. That laid the groundwork for the takeover of Palestine during the 1948-Nakba. By the end of 1947, the Jewish armed forces had reached the highest levels of readiness for their mission of ethnic cleansing of Palestine. The Jewish settlements, that had arisen since the 1880's  were built like military garrisons rather than villages. They had walls and watchtowers. The idea of Jewish statehood was from the beginning associated with militarism and an army, to protect the colonies against the possible resistance of the residents of nearby villages, and for the future plans of the transfer and expulsion of the Palestinians from their homes.

Years before the Nakba, even in 1944, the plan was made for the ethnic cleansing of Palestine from Palestinians. The goal was even set as high as to captivate 80% of Mandatory Palestine, much more than what was decided in the UN Partition plan of the 1947 UN-Resolution 181. In that resolution 'only' 53% would be transferred in Zionist hands. Part of the plan was 'Plan C, terrorizing and intimidating the Palestinians, and protecting the isolated Jewish settlements. The next phase, 'Plan D', was the all-out offensive to conquer and hold territory allocated to the Jews by the UN, in addition to areas to be occupied outside these borders, and to expel the Palestinian inhabitants of these territories, estimated at one million. In 1948, they did not reach the expulsion of a million Palestinians but they came very close with more than 700.000 Palestinians on the run.

Looking back at the complete history of the Jewish people, the 1948-Nakba and the decades that followed can be seen as the continuation of the wars of the Roman legions on the Jews in the first and second century AD. The Zionists continued where the Romans left off. Emperor Hadrian had made a start with the ethnic cleansing of the Jewish homeland. After his death this process however came to a standstill. The Jews still inhabited large parts of Judea and Galilee and after some time even returned to the direct surroundings of Jerusalem. After the empire had been christianitzed many Jews converted to Christianity and after their land was conquered by Muslim rulers, they turned towards Islam and became part of the larger Arab world. The Jews never were in real danger of being completely eradicated from their land, until the Zionists arrived.

Considering that most Zionists have no direct bloodline with old Israel, like the Palestinians have, whereas they have very strong ties to the empire and the moneymasters behind it, Zionists function as the empire's legion to 'finish the job' in the complete erasure of the holy land from all the true Jews still living there. This view is backed by multiple Old-Testament prophecies. One is Daniel 7:21, which states:

' I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them'.

This 'same horn' is the same as the mysterious 'he' of Daniel 9:27. It is the representative of the empire, of which the USA is the last, worldwide manifestation. See more on the Daniel 7 prophesy on this page.

Another prophecy concerning the most recent etnhic cleansing of the true Jews, the Palestinians, from their land is Zechariah 14:1,2: '

'Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.'

This is exactly what happened in the 1948-Nakba and the decades that followed. The 'spoil' is Palestinian land that has been divided 'in the midst of the people' - not taken away as normally happens with spoil but taken within the land itself, because it was land that was stolen. The 'nations gathered against Jerusalem to battle' were the Zionists. With their watered down DNA they cannot truly be called Jews. They came from all over the world to take over Palestinian land. 'The city would be taken, the houses rifled and the women ravished'. They came heavily weaponed by the empire, in well-trained gangs that were accustomed to the most heinous acts of terrorism imaginable. They committed massacres, threatened the Palestinian inhabitants with  rape and murder and raised hundreds of villages to the ground. They were gathered to Jerusalem, especially in the 1967-Six-Day-War, when the Zionist millitary took over East Jerusalem and occupied all territories that UN-resolution 181 had left to them. Since then Palestinians have been subjected to a brutal regime of apartheid for which South-Africa would be ashamed. 'Half the city would go forth into captivity'. The word for 'captivity' means 'leading into exile', 'removing to somewhere else'. This text indicates that half of the Palestinians would become displaced from their land. This is exactly what has happened since the 1948-Nakba. Wikipedia writes: 'Despite various wars and exoduses, roughly one half of the world's Palestinian population continues to reside in the territory of former Mandatory Palestine (= former Palestine under British rule). The Zionists have done a much more effective job than the Roman legions in the first two centuries AD. The Zionists have continued the work of the empire.

That the Zionist attack on Palistine is a continuation of the old Roman wars on the Jews, can als be seen in the most central prophecy in the book of Revelation. In Revelation 12, the satan, the opponent of God and his people, is seen as a great red dragon that is about to devour the 'Child', the Messiah, once it will be born out of 'the woman', the Jewish people. Messiah however is caught up to God and his throne, picturing the work, the resurrection and the ascension of Jesus. Then the woman flees toward the wilderness, where she is being fed for 1,260 days. This was actually fulfilled in the flight of Christians to Pella, a place situated in present day Jordan, at the time when the Roman legions attacked Jerusalem ad destroyed it.

Suddenly the text of Revelation 12 jumps from the flight of the woman to a war in heaven. Michael and his angels fight the great red dragon and his angels. The red dragon is seen with seven heads and with crowns on his heads, depicting seven empires or parts thereof that satan got under his control - Babylon - Media - Persia - Ptolemy - Seleucid - Rome - the USA till 1861 (civil war). The war in heaven ends with the casting down of satan to earth. Once expelled from heaven, the dragon persecutes the woman that gave birth to the Child. And again, the woman has to flee. But this time, her flight is different. Contrary to her first flight (at the beginning of our era) she is said to be persecuted by the dragon. That would mean that the attack on the woman is more ferocious than before. And indeed, the Palestinians have not been under attack for a total of about 7 years but for more than a tenfold thereof. A second difference is the supernatural character of the woman's future flight. She will be given two wings of the great eagle with which she will 'fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent'. The serpent is the same as satan, the dragon, the spiriual head of empire.

The text of Revelation 12 gives the hope of an eventual rescue of the Palestinian people. The Palestinians in Palestine, which are violently attacked, will supernaturally fly to a safe place where they will be cared for. But the serpent won't let loose without a fight, for Revelation 12 ends with:

^'And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.'

A flood of water in prophecy often has the meaning of an army that is about to attack. Here the army would be the IDF, that will try to capture the Palestinians wherever they will land after their flight. This passage could very well coincide with Zecheriah 14:3-6, which also shows the Lord's Endtime-intervention  on behalf of his people. This will take place at the Mount of Olives, which will split once his feet will stand on it. Then his people will take refuge in the valley that will form within the two parts of the Mount of Olives. Much like in the days of the Exodus, the following IDF will then be covered, this time not by the water of the Red Sea but by the earth of the mountain, once the Palestinians have passed through.

Having lost control of the Palestinians in the land, the wrath of the dragon will direct his fury towards the Palestinians thoughout the world. They are equal in number to the Palestinians in Palestine. They are 'the remnant of her seed which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.' Because of the manifestation of the Lord in Palestine, they will all have turned toward the Lord Jesus and will have become his witnesses. They will be 'the many' that will be subject to the rage of the dragon during the second half of 'the week', while the Palestinians in Palestine will be brought to safety for 'time, times and half a time', as seen in the Revelation-12 prophecy. We now come to the important question about 'the week' during which the covenant will be made heavy.

 

The week

'He will make the covenant heavy to many for one week...', is the first line of Daniel 9:27. This 'he' is the representative of the US-empire, which is the last stage of the 2,600 year existence of empire since Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2, Daniel 7).

Verse 27 is a continuation of the prophecy on the 70 weeks of 7 years. Verse 25 shows that the first 69 weeks (69 x 7 = 483 years) would lead up to the coming of Messiah, which actually happened while Rome was in power, in the baptism of Jesus in the year 27, 483 years after the year 457 BC. That was the year in which the Persians constituted the empire and gave the inhabitants of Jerusalem both their city rights and a command to rebuild their city. 

Verse 26 shows what would happen after the first 69 weeks of 7 years: the city and the sanctuary would be destroyed 'by the people of a prince that would come'. Until the end there would be wars and desolation, which points to the Endtime war and destruction that would come upon the city and its people - the subject of the prophecy. The Endtime war of empire upont the people of God and his land has started at the latest in 1948, with the Nakba. Since then the Zionists have done everything to finish the work of the Roman legions: to ethnicly cleanse the holy land from its people, the Palestinians. 

Verse 27 shows how long the last part of the Endtime war upon the city and the people would last. It shows who would instigate it and by which circumstances it would be characterized. The very heavy last phase of war would be based on a covenant, made heavy to the many of God's people, and would last for one week. This 'week' is the 70th and last week of the prophecy of 70 weeks. In other words: the horrific Endtime that God's people would experience would last for 7 years.

Are we able to assess whether these last 7 years have already started? And if so, when did they start? For the moment of their start, we have to look at the situation of the Palestinians, which has been awful for the past 80 years, with the Zionists pressing them from their land, locking them in a system of apartheid and sometimes subjecting them to downright terror. Did the circumstances of Palestinians that were slowly deterioriating, suddenly start to become even more desperate on a much faster pace?

Yes, they did, after October 7, 2023. On that very day the world was led to believe that Palestinian Hamas-forces inside Gaza suddenly and completely unexpectedly broke out, creating havoc in the surroundings, killing more than a thousand Israeli's. The truth is that the outbreak was not unexpected. It coud not be unexpected, which is clear to anyone that knows how tightly guarded the border of Gaza is. It is an open-air prison. Palestinian militia's had held excercizes for years. More than 2.5 years after October 7, 2023, an official investigation into the matter has not even started. Further, many of the Israeli deaths were the result of actions by the IDF, wich was ordered to apply the so called 'Hannibal directive', that is, to kill all Israeli's which were in danger of being kidnapped by Hamas in order to prevent the necessity of prisoner-exchanges. One of the reasons for the actions by Hamas was the release of some of the about 10.000 Palestinians that are held in detention in Israeli prisons, often without any due process, almost all of them being political prisoners.

The year 2022 was already one of the worst years in the history of Palestine because of Israel's brutal behaviour. The IDF was murdering civilians and even journalists and violently disturbing their funerals afterwards. But the dramatic year of 2022 would prove to be nothing compared to the absolute horrors of 2023 and the years that followed. The prison outbreak of Hamas of October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of about 1,200 Israeli citizens gave to Netanyahu the pretext he needed to finally finish the job of the 1948-Nakba. This job of ethnicly cleansing Palestine is still going on in the summer of 2026. Israeli liars were swift to tell the most despicable of lies about alleged war crimes by Hamas, which the Jewish controlled Western media and politicians were more than ready to spread. Newspapers and newsrooms were filled with baseless accusations against Hamas without doing the least of investigative research or journalism. It seems that, outside of the alternative media, investigative journalism is as dead as Netanyahu's conscience, leaving only propaganda to be fed to the Western public. All of the Israeli lies about atrocities by Hamas have been falsified, one by one. But the harm had already been done in the first days after October 7. A first impression of an incident by a public of billions can never be undone.

Because of the stream of vicious lies about the October 7 event from Gaza, Israel started relentlessly bombing, shelling and shooting innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza and never stopped. The violence did not even stop during so called 'ceasefires'. We now will show a series of statistics with the Palestinian situation before and after October 7, 2023, from wich one almost cannot escape the conclusion that 'the making heavy of the covenant to many for one week' has indeed started on October 7, 2023. This conclusion is of enormous importance. For if 'the week' of 7 years of Daniel 9:27 indeed started on October 7, 2023, these 7 years will expire on October 7, 2030. If so, October 7, 2030 will be the day or close to the day of the return of Jesus.

Another important date to derive from the October 7, 2023-start of a genocide is the start of the 'great tribulation'. This abhorrent Endtime of 'Western civilization', spans the last half of the 7 years, during which almost all of the book of Revelation will be fulfilled, together with most of yet unfulfilled prophecies of the Old Testament. Three and a half years past October 7, 2023 bring us to April 7, 2027. Around that date the antichrist would be fully revealed in the 'abomination of desolation', the second half of Daniel 9:27 speaks of. But before going into that, we will first show the statistics from which it becomes clear that 'the week of making the covenant heavy to many' has probably started with October 7, 2023.

1.    Since October 7, 2023, the number of Palestinian deaths has soared.

The last 3 months of 2023 saw more Palestinian deaths than the 15 preceding years combined, making 2023 the deadliest year for Palestinians since the Nakba of 1948. The official number of deaths in Gaza, which is very cautious, has risen to almost 73.000 by June 2026. Thousands more remain missing beneath the rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue crews. On April 1, 2024, official figures reported over 32,000 Palestinians dead, including 12,300 children in over 5 months - a higher number than children killed in all global wars over the past four years combined.

Until the 'ceasefire' of October 10, 2025 Israel threw 200.000 tons of munition upon the urban area's of Gaza, which is the equivalent of 6 nuclear weapons. It thereby used the most gruwesome of weapons, like 2000 pound bombs, targeting civilians, even in area's it designated safe for civilians, even in their tents, incinerating many bodies instantly.

2.    Since October 7, 2023, about 173.000 Palestinians were injured

Many injuries were very severe,  necessitating amputation. Therefore Gaza has become the region with the most amputated children per capita. Because of the collapsed healthcare system and the bare minimum coming through the gates to the Gaza getto, many amputations had to be performed without anesthesia. Here is a witness account of one such amputation.

3.    Since October 7, 2023, Israel has squeezed the food entering Gaza

The food entering Gaza has been brought down to a bare minimum, leading to famine. The numer of trucks entering GAZA since October 7, 2023, never reached a third of the pre-genocide levels. The number of famine deaths in Gaza has been rising to a staggering 150 per month by the latter half of 2025. In the summer of 2024, the moderate acute malnourished (MAM) and the severely acute malnourished (SAM) Gazan children up to 5 years old ran in the 4.000. The IDF has turned starvation into a policy of war, which is a blatant war crime according to all modern standards. This shows the continuation of a policy by the Roman empire, which also used starvation as a weapon at the 70 AD-siege of Jerusalem.

4.   Thousands of Palestinians were killed by military fire while seeking food

From 27 May to 9 October 2025, amid a famine in the Gaza Strip, more than 2,600 Palestinian civilians seeking aid were killed and thousands more were wounded when being fired upon by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), armed gangs, and contractors hired by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF)

5.    Since October 7, 2023 the Gaza life expectancy dropped sharply

In the first 1.5 years of the genocidal war, the average life expectancy in Gaza dropped from 75.5 years to 40.5 years, a decrease of 46%.

6.    Since October 7, 2023, the economy of Gaza has been devastated

Since the outbreak of the genocidal war on Gaza, in just 3 months the GDP of Gaza plummeted by 81%. Before 2023 it had already shrunk by 27% because of Israel's blockade of Gaza since 2006. The sheer destruction of bombardments of the first 4 months since October 7 is estimated at 18.5 billion USD, which is 7 times Gaza's GDP of 2022. At earlier reconstruction rates, it would take 80 years to rebuild what was destroyed in the first 4 months since October 7, 2023. In a normal tempo, it would take 16 years. Within a year, the poverty rate rose from 38% to 60%

7.    Since October 7 about 90% of Gaza's population has been displaced

After 1.5 years of genocide, in January 2025, 1.900.000 Gazans had become homeless and had to live in makeshift tents.

8.    Since Oct. 7, 2023, 34 of the 38 hospitals in Gaza have been destroyed

From the start of the genocidal war, the IDF has deliberately attacked medical facilities and medical workers. More than 1,700 healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, and other medical staff, have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 2023, while 362 others have been detained. Gaza's healthcade system has collapsed as 162 health facilities and 197 ambulances have been targeted, while 96 health centers and 36 hospitals have gone out of service. In July, 2026, the attacks on healthcare workers are still ongoing.

9.    Since Oct. 7, 2023, almost all centers of education have been destroyed

After 2 years of genocide, 97% of all schools have been damaged or destroyed while  95% of all campuses have been affected. Of 38 campused, 22 are completely destroyed. Of the higher education staff in the whole of Gaza 22% have been killed or detained, a much higher percentage than on average. Most of the 658,000 school age children have had limited access to face to face learning for over two academic years. The Gaza genocide has therefore also been named a scholasticide. 

10.  Since Oct. 7, 2023, amost all religious centers  of Gaza were demolished

In February 2025, 1.109 mosques (79%) and all 3 churches of Gaze had been partly or totally destroyed.

11.  Since Oct. 7 2023, Israel has systematically been erasing Gaza's culture

According to UNESCO 164  cultural sites were damaged or destroyed in March of 2026. Among these sites are very old buildings, dating back to the Middle Ages.

12.  Since October 7, 2023, the number of killed journalists skyrocketed

The number of journalists, killed in 2 years of genocide in the small Gaza-strimp is three times higher as in all other wars.

The pretext for the genocide on Gaza, took place from Gaza. But that did not hinder Israel to attack an even more important Palestinian region: the West Bank - without any justification. Since October 7, 2023 the West-Bank also came under a much fiercer  attack than ever before. The intensified assault on the West-Bank - like the attack on Gaza - stems from the 'covenant that would be made heavy to many for one week'.

13.  Since October 7, 2023, the raids in the West-Bank almost doubled

Raids or incursions in the West-Bank are coordinated actions between gangs of Israeli settlers, whose job it is to terrorize Palestinians on their land or in their homes, and the IDF that protects the settlers while they are busy at 'their job'. The euphemistic term ‘settlers’ comes nowhere near the brutal reality of the mostly-imported land thieves driving the indigenous Palestinians from their land. ‘Settlers’ burn homes with Palestinian families inside. They beat and shoot Palestinians, poison water — a tactic used since the inception of the colony — steal or destroy crops and livestock — all under the protection of the occupation military and with complete impunity. The outbreak of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023 led to a sharp increase in settler violence. It doubled compared to the years before. Looking just at October 2023, the incidents of settler violence have tripled. With the outbreak of the US/Israeli war on Iran on February 28, 2026, settlers seized the opportunity to increase their West-Bank attacks, as was the case with October 7, 2023. The IDF is more than willing to destroy infrastructure, even schools, to help expell the Palestinians. This picture shows the grim look of attacking settlers, which are nothing but terrorist gangs with government support, backed by the US-empire. Even US-senators aren't safe for settler violence, when they visit the West-Bank. The senater that was attacked (Ro Khanna) is one of the few anti-imperial voices in the US-government system, criticising the unconditional US-support for Israel. That could have made him a 'legitimate target' for the zionist state.

14.  Since Oct.7, 2023, Palestinian deaths through settler violence have tripled

Related to the foregoing point are the deaths due to settler violence in the West Bank. The militias of settlers operate from existing settlements and outposts, which are the first phase of the settlements. These outposts are under protection of the IDF and funded with millions by the government. The Palestinians have no legal protection and risk a military tribunal once they harm any settler, who is attacking them. Palestinians face the most evil form of state sponsored terrorism imaginable, which has extremely worsened since October 7, 2023. From October 7 until October 30 of 2023, violence reached an altime high, causing 124 Palestinian deaths on the West-Bank, more than 5 times the average of the preceding months. With only 3 months, the last quarter of 2023 since October 7 saw double the killed Palestinian minors as in the prededing 9 months.

15. Since October 7 2023, the number of settler outposts shot up

Since October 7, 2023 until July 8, 2026, in 2.5 years, the number of settler outposts has risen dramatically, with 185 outposts. That is more than the 160 settlements that arose in occupied Palestine since 1967. Since October 7, 2023 until July 8, 2026, 118 Palestinian herding communities were displaced. Already within half a year, more than 1,200 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank had been forced from their homes since the conflict started. With the far-right government of Netanyahu, that started on December 29, 2022, a regime of total Palestinian expulsion from the West-Bank has been designed and implemented.

16.  Since October 7, 2023, demolitions on the Westbank surged

The attacks on the West-Bank have been going on for many years but intensified after October 7, 2023, with a 60% increase in the demolation of Palestinian buildings in 2024 to 1.769, to make place for illegal outposts. Everything that Israel does, either in the West-Bank or in Gaza is illegal according to international law but the so called 'international community' does not undertake any actions. After the 6-day war of 1967 Israel left only 22% of the land to Palestinians but even that is being slowly but surely robbed away from them. One has to think of John 10:10 - ' The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy'.

17.  Since October 7, 2023, the number of Palestinians detainees has doubled

The number of Palestinians in Israeli custody has been abnormally high for many years, with about 17% adminstrative detainees, without any  reason. The number of Palestinian detainees doubled directly after October 7, 2023, the rise consisting largely of administrative detainees and - since long - detainees under unlawful combatants law.

18. Since the October 10, 2025 'ceasefire', Israel killed 1.072 people in Gaza

The ceasefire is being violated by Israel in at least three ways.

(1) The contiuous killing of Palestinians, which has been still more than in 12 of the 15 preceding years. Since the start of the 'ceasefire' until July 10, 2026, 1.092 Palestinians were killed in Gaza, about 20% of which are children. That comes to one child a day, killed in cold blood by military, during a 'ceasefire'. Moreover, 3.507 Palestinians were injured. Of the 271 days from October 10, 2025 till June 2026, only 27 days were without violent and deadly attacks by the IDF. On July 9, Israeli attacks have killed 1,092 Palestinians and wounded 3,507.since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025. This is without counting the people that are dying because of the ongoing blockade.

(2) Of the negotiated aid that would enter Gaza, only about one third was allowed to enter. Many essential equipment for shelter, for heavy lifting of rubble and many sorts of medicine and medical equipment was totally barred from entering the Gaza-strip. The food coming in is often seized by armed gangs that are supported by the Israeli government.

(3) Lastly, Israel continually moved the 'yellow' line, separating the IDF-territory from the Gaza-population inward, occupying more and more of Palestinian territory. The IDF-occupied zone of Gaza increased from 53% on October 10, 2025 to 70% in July 2026. Yes, 70%!

Here it must be stated that the entity overseeing the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas is the so called 'board of peace', which would operate under the auspices of Donald Trump, the president of the USA. The charter of the board however doesn't mention Gaza once. It gives the appearance as if president Trump has abused the Gaza genocide to establish a universal governing body that bypasses the United Nations. After months of a genocide in slow motion since the board was established, one has to conclude either that this board is as toothless as the United Nations in protecting the rights of Palestinians, or that it was the intention to continue the onslaught. For not only is there a 'board of peace'. The USA has also established a military base in the direct vicinity of Gaza, which could function as watchdog for the board of peace to protect the Palestinians, forcing Israel to comply to the ceasfire-deal. Nothing of the sort is however happening. The US gives Israel a free rein in murdering Palestinian civilians during the ceasefire. This confirms the points made earlier, that it is the empire that is behind the Palestinian suffering. The Israeli army functions as legion of the empire to do its dirty work and to take on the public outrage in the world. The mysterious 'he' that Daniel 9:27 starts with, the one that would make the covenant heavey to many for one week, is the US-president, the ruler of empire, the last successor of Rome, that started the job in the first two centuries of our era. As we said above: the US-empire proceeds where the Roman empire left off.

All of the above are indications that 'the 70th week' of Daniel indeed started on October 7, 2023, making 'the covenant heavy to many', that is: turning the already sorrowful lives of Palestinians into a living hell. The extreme importance of this is that - if this assessment is correct - the second coming of Jesus, that will completely change earth's conditions and that will end Western civilization, would take place around October 7 in 2030.

Besides the start of the most difficult period in Palestinian history, the Gaza genocide combined with the West-Bank assault, there are other indications for a start of the 70th week of Daniel on October 7, 2023. We mention 3 other indications.

1.    Numerical indications: October 7, 2023

The genocide started on the seventh day of the tenth month. Multiplying day (7) and month (10) gives 70. The sum of the year digits is: 2+2+0+3 = 7 Daniel 9:27 is about the 70th week, the 70th period of 7 years.

October 7, 2023 was a saturday, a sabbath, the 7th day of the week

October 7 is the 280th day of the year. 280 = 40 x 7; 40 is the number of temptation (Israel, 40 years in the desert - Jesus, 40 days tempted) and 7 is of course the number of years of the 'last week of Daniel'. It is the 'week of Jacobs trouble', the temptation of true Israel, the Palestinians.

 2.   Indications in the constellations of the stars of heaven.

Revelation 12:1 was seen in the stars of heaven on September 23, 2017 in the constellations Leo and Virgo. Together with the nine stars of Leo, Mercury, Mars and Venus made a crown of 12 stars above the head of Virgo. The sun was at the left shoulder of Virgo. She was clothed with the sun. The moon was at the feet of Virgo. For nine months Jupiter had been inside the womb of Virgo. All of this exactly matched Revelation 12:1

'And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.'

The woman in the Revelation-12-prophecy is a picture of Israel, the people out of which the Messiah would come forth. She is seen under attack by the Dragon. This attack could be seen in October 2023 in 3 comets, coming from the tale of the serpent (constellation Hydra that is South-West of Virgo) and traveling through Virgo.

In the weeks preceding October 7, 2023, a bright comet was passing along the tail of Leo and cutting through the breast of Virgo, ending at the tail of the serpent (Hydra) on October 7, 2023.

In the summer of 2023, 12P/Pons-Brooks was at the mouth of the dragon 'Draco', high in the North. In late July, it underwent an outburst and became 100 times brighter. It started to look like a falling angel. That is when it started to be called the 'Devil Comet'. In the autumn of 2023 it started slowly descending toward the South. On March 31, 2024, it cut exactly through the neck star of the Lamb 'Aries'. It was between the legs of the Lamb on April 8, 2024, at the sun-eclips. It traveled under the hoofs of 'Taurus' in the second half of April 2024 and reached the death river 'Eridanus' on May 9, 2024. We consider this heavenly event to be a representation of the casting down to earth of 'the dragon' called satan and the devil, the old snake of Revelation 12:12. And indeed, directly satan was targeting God's people, the Palestinians, starting a genocide on October 7, 2023. What else can October 7 be but the 70th week of Daniel 9.

Before his fall from heaven, there was a war in heaven, which was seen in the sky in 2018 after the sign of the woman being pregnant and Messiah being 'caught up to God and his throne' (Revelation 12:5). The (1)resurrection and (2)ascension of Jesus were to be seen in (1) Venus coming in conjuction with Jupiter - Venus showing the glorified man, Jupiter the man of sorrows (2) Venus coming in conjunction with the sun. This last event happened close to Saturn - satan was looking on. Then, the retrograding Mercury (picturing the archangel) came in close conjunction with Saturn in the bow of Sagittarius - the start of the war in heaven. This war went on till Feb.28, 2024, when there was an extremely close encounter between Mercury and Saturn, while being in conjunction with the sun, when both planets touched the horizon, seen from Jerusalem - satan cast to earth. In the months following, the devil comet was seen falling from the sky (from North to South).

The combination of celestial events from September 23, 2017 until the fall of 2023 so perfectly describes the 12th chapter of Revelation and the 7 October date on which the genocide started so excellently fits into these sequence of celestial events, that one cannot but conclude that the fulfillment of prophecy in Revelation 12:13, the 'persecution of the woman by the dragon' and thereby the 70th week of Daniel must have started - on October 7, 2023.

3.    Indications in geopolitics.

The start of the genocide of October 7, 2023 triggered a cascade of fundamental changes in the Middle East, that will lead up to the Invasion of Israel by Egypt and Iran at the midpoint of the week, directly after the 'abomination of desolation', on which we will elaborate here below.

(1) Ansar Allah in Yemen (the Houthis) directly in November 2023 started a naval blockade on Israel, while attacking it with missiles. Because of that it was severely bombarded by the USA and its EU-vassals and Israel but eventually the USA had to leave the war-theater.

(2) Hezbollah of Lebanon started to fire missiles toward the North of Israel in retalliation of the enormous suffering it inflicted on Gaza. With much more firepower, Israel struck back very hard, hitting many villages. 

(3) The pager- and walkie-talkie-attacks by Israel of September 2024 that wounded more than 3,000 people and the assassination of Hezbollah leadership, especially Nasrallah, significantly weakened Hezbollah

(4) With Hezbollah weakened, Israel started to launch wholesale attacks on civilan targets in the South of Lebanon and even in Beiruth, killing thousands, giving evacuation orders and displacing nearly a million people from the South of Lebanon, while invading and occupying strategic parts of it. Israel used the ensuing ceasefire to solidify its position by blowing up residential buildings and infrastructure. In hindsight, Israel had started its policy of ethnicly cleansing of South Lebanon, as it was doing with Gaza since October 7, 2023.

(5) With Hezbollah even more weakened, and with Russia tied up in the war with Ukraine, which had been going on since February 24, 2022, the position of the Syrian Assad-government had become so fragile that it could be attacked and overthrown by the rebels (or more appropriately, by the terrorists) of HTS in late 2024. This militia had its origins in Al-Qada and ISIS, and it was backed by Turkey and more covertly by Israel. Israeli air power was active during the fight and continued after it, completely destroying all Syrian military equipment. The leader of HTS, 'Al Jolani', had a bounty on his head of USD10 million, which was removed by the US-state department once HTS had come to power in Syria. In November of 2025 the former head-chopper, rebranded 'Al Sharaa', was even received in the White House by Donald Trump.

(6) The downfall of the government of Syria made the way free for an all-out attack on Iran. Since 9-11-01, the foreign policy of the US-empire in the Middle East has been to take down 7 countries: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Lybia, Somalia, Sudan and Iran. General Wesley Clark mentioned this while they were already waging war on Afghanistan. Indeed, since then, all of these countries have witnessed the most brutal of violence while their governments were destabilized or overthrown. Iran was the only country on the list that was not yet militarily attacked. The war on Iran started in 2025, directly after the downfall of Syria. The war on Iran came with intervals and consisted of joint operations between the US and Israel, in which Israel got the blame as the ultimate cause of the conflict that started twice in the midst of US-Iran negotiation. Through its enormous missile capability, Iran was able to inflict considerable pain on US-bases in the US-linked Gulf states as well as on Israel. Iran also closed the strait of Hormuz, causing world energy prices to almost double. The USA was forced to agree to a humiliating ceasefire that was doomed to fail from day one. Without any resemblance of a strategy, a conflict about the strait of Hormuz was seized by the USA to renew hostilities.

(7) If October 7, 2023 was the start of the last 7 years of Western history, then 3.5 years into this period would see the 'abomination of desolation', an insult to the most High in a sacred place, which would trigger WWIII. In July 2026, we are only 9 months away from this moment. With a desperate US-empire, that is about to lose its grip on the world and a narcissistic US-president that is looking at a gigantic loss, the moment seems to approach that the victorious Iran has to be provoked unto a huge military expedition, whereby it will become fatefully overstretched. According to prophecy this provocation will be realized by the forementioned 'abomination of desolation', insulting Islam within the Al-Aqsa compound, the third holiest place in Islam. If that won't ignite a holy war agains the source of provocation, what will? What would then be the meaning of the thousands of marters that died for the Islamic resistance agains the evil empire? In July 2026 the desperation of the empire is again growing. A new round of attacks by the USA on Iran after a few days of a disfunctional Memorandum of understanding has only led to further deterioration of the American position in the Gulf States, te destruction large parts of American military bases.

4.    Indications within the Al-Aqsa compound.

With the Palestinians becoming weaker by the day, the religious zionists are pushing their third temple more than ever. In September 2000 Israeli politician Ariel Sharon, flanked by hundreds of heavily armed soldiers and police officers, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Since then, the position of the Mosque as stronghold of Islam has been deteriorating. And a stronghold it was. There was a time when even the seeming utterance of prayers by Jews on the holy site was not tolerated. But since 2003 the number of brutal settlers desecrating the Al Aqsa under protection of Israeli police forces have risen from a few hundred per year to more than 50.000 per year in 2024. The settler incursions have become a daily scene and sometimes they are accompanied by Israeli ministers such as extreme right settler Ben Gvir. During those hours that settlers are touring the compound, the entrance of Muslims is restricted. Many Palestinians cannot visit the Al Aqsa because Palestinian area's have been sealed off by huge walls and only Palestinians above a certain age are allowed through the checkpoints - if they have received a permit. The slow erosion of the Islamic tradition on the Al-Aqsa stronghold is an important part of prophecy. By allowing the settlers even more freedom in the Al Aqsa than many Musims, the Israeli government is pusuing a delibarate policy of provoking the Muslim populations of West Asia. This was an important trigger for the desperate actions of October 7,2023, which Palestinians called 'Al Aqsa flood'. Since then, the provocatians have intesified, which will lead to another 'Al Aqsa flood', with even more devastating consequences. Daniel 11:36-39 foresees a 'king' that would magnify nobody but himself and 'the god of fortresses' and would do such 'in the strong holds'. This king is the face of Zionism that has placed itself above the most High, doing everything He forbade yet imagining Him to have granted them 'the holy land' - unconditionally, thereby ignoring every word He speaks about these issues in their sacred scriptures. Moreover, Zionism admires the world empire (the 'god of fortresses'), that gave them the opportunity and the means to occupy the holy land, while slowly murdering and chasing away its inhabitants. 

The 'magnifying of the 'god of fortresses' in 'the strong holds', could be fulfilled in  the honoring of the US-empire or its president (the morbid adversary of Iran) in the Al Aqsa. That would indeed trigger another Al Aqsa flood, described in Isaiah 28:14-19. There the relationship with the empire is called 'a covenant with death' (as we have seen: the Balfour declaration)

The Midst of the Week

The 'week' is a period of 7 years. So 'the midst of the week' is 3.5 years after the start of the week. If October 7, 2023 is the start of the week, then the midst of the week would be April 7, 2027. The Midst of the Week is of enormous significance. From then on, the 'Endtime' will truly start, the 3.5 years until the second coming of Jesus. Eight times, bible prophecy points to this 3.5-year period:

1.    Daniel 7:25 >>> time, times and half a time

the absolute rule of the 11th horn of the beast, that in about 250 years would have grown into the total beast, encompassing the earth, absorbing the ten horns it came out of.

2.    Daniel 9:27 >>> half a week

The rest of the week after the midst of it, characterized by 'desolation' upon the 'holy land' (see below)

3.   Daniel 12:11 >>> time, times and half a time

       The duration that the power of the holy people wil be crushed

4.    Revelation 11:2 >>> 42 months

       The duration that the holy city will be tread under foot

5.    Revelation 11:3 >>> 1,260 days

       The duration that the two witnesses will preach to the world

6.    Revelation 12:6 >>> 1,260 days

The duration of the flight of the Christians in 70 AD, shortly after the ascension of Messiah. The only one of these texts not referring to the Endtime

7.   Revelation 12:14 >>> time, times and half a time

      The duration of the woman (God's people, true Israel) hiding in the desert

8.    Revelation 13:5 >>> 42 months

The duration of the beast's actions toward absolute reign

There is much misunderstanding concerning the 'great tribulation' (Mathew 24:21, Revelation 7:14) or 'unprecedented tribulation' (Daniel 12:1). Some interpreters refer to the 7 years as 'the tribulation' while they call the last 3.5 years 'the great tribulation'. The bible does not make such a distinction. It only names 'Jacob's trouble' (Jeremiah 30:7) and 'great tribulation'. Considering the covenant made heavy to many for 'one week', the 'many' being Daniel's people (Dan.9:24), one must conclude that 'Jacob's trouble' will last 7 years. These 7 years must be split in (1) the first 3.5 years and (2) the last 3.5 years.

(1) The first 3.5 years consist of an all-out attack by the dragon through his empire on God's people within the land. This is what we saw in the genocide on Gaza and to a lesser extent on the West-Bank after October 7, 2023, of which we have given many characteristics and statistics in the text above. This attack is described in Revelation 12:13. The rescue is painted in Revelation 12:14-16, leading up to 'time, times and half a time' during which the people in Palestine will be protected and nourished. So while the great tribulation of the last 3.5 years will sweep the earth, the Palestinians in the land are in safety. This is one way in which God 'will shorten those days' (Mathew 24:22).

(2) The last 3.5 years will witness a vicious attack by the dragon through his empire on God's people in exile, in many countries on earth. The situation of Gaza and the West-Bank will be copied worldwide. All Palestinians in the world outside of Palestine, together with their supporters will be persecuted. The prelude to that has already started. Thus we read it in Daniel 7:25, the 'horn', that is the Endtime beast that started off as the 11th horn of the old Roman empire, will 'wear out the saints of the most High' for 42 months. Having witnessed the salvation of their relatives in Palestine, Palestinians all over the world will have become followers of Jesus and witnesses of the word of God. Thus the word of Revelation 12:17 will come true: 'And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ'. 'The remnant of her seed' consists of the Palestinians in exile.

The power of the US-empire consists first and foremost out of information control. The empire has at least one century of totally brainwashing the Western public into a world vision of Western morality and superiority, which makes it difficult for the average Western citizen to understand how the West could be capable of committing atrocities. How true is the statement in Revelation 13:4, that the whole earth 'wandered after the beast'. It is the Jewish controlled Western media that has consistantly painted the picture of the West, with the US and Israel at its core, as the cultural giant that has to be admired and even worshiped: '...and it causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast...' (Rev.13:12). As soon as atrocities are being committed by the West, there is always found a pretext that absolves the West. 'Weapons of mass destruction', 'tyrannical regimes', 'Islamic terrorism', 'lack of democracy', 'Hamas'.

In the case of Israel, the stuctural terror by the state generally remains under the radar while the explosions of kinetic terror that result from it get all the attention. On October 7, there was worldwide enormous attention for the actions of Hamas. But the kinetic violence of October 7 cannot be understood without the structural violence of Oct. 6 and all the days before. If you indefinitely postpone the political process of relieving structural violence, of oppressing an entire population, you risk outbreaks of kinetic violence.

The structural violence against Palestinians has been going on from the Nakba of 1948. Many Western citizens don't even know what happened at the 1948-Nakba, at which half of Palestine was robbed from its land while chasing away the indigenous populations with atrocious acts of terror. For most people in the West, 1948 was the year of the establishment of the state of Israel. For this one-sided narrative, the evangelical churches are mainly responsible. They take 1948 as the 'start of the fig tree', the old people of God starting to blossem again in their land, to which they relate the return of Jesus, based on his words: 'So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled' (Mathew 24:33,34)

The problem with relating these words of the Lord to the founding of Israel, is that the Lord nowhere spoke of the founding of Israel or of a Jewish state leading up to his coming. What He spoke and warned about were first and foremost the false prophets that would come, antichrists, people coming in his name - claiming to bring salvation. He warned for the abomination of desolation and the great tribulation that would follow, filled with false prophets and antichrists. The state of Israel was not the first signs of the blossoming of the old people of God. It was the opposite. It was the total destruction of the old people of God, the Palestinians, under fasle pretexts. Zionims is not a work of God. It is a work of God's enemy pretending to do God's work. Zionists are the tares amongs the wheat (Mathew 13:25). The fruits of it however have been undeniable from the 1948 Nakba onwards and especially since October 7, 2023. Of the false prophets, Jesus said: 'By their fruits you shall know them' (Mathew 7:20). The state of Israel is the system of false prophey of Revelation 16 and 19, that is being practised by thousands of so called evangelical christians, who have all fallen into this deceptive trap of pseudo religion and who benefit the evil spirit behind the US-empire.

 

Two other prophecies show how these 7 years are split in two differend parts.

 

 

 

 

So, like in the case the woman that had to flee for a second time, the Jewish people of which the woman is a picture, after almost 2000 years, were persecuted for a second time

 

The events with the Palestinians 

He = 'the prince that shall come' of whom the people 'will destroy the city and the sancuary' = The US-president, the US being the last heir of Rome, that destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.

The covenant = The 1917 Balfour declariation. The then English empire officially promising a 'homeland for the Jews' to the world's central bankers, represented by Rothschild to which the declaration was made.

Many = the people of Daniel, the true Jews about whom this prophecy is all about - 'thy people and upon thy holy city', was the subject of the prophecy, told by the angel to Daniel.

One week = The last 7 years before the return of Jesus, the 70th week (period of 7 years) of the prophecy of 70 weeks. The 69th week ended with the first coming of Christ. the 70th will end with his second coming. The 69th and the 70th week are separated by the 2000 years of church history.

Make (the covenant) heavy (to many) - The 1917 declaration that was made to the most powerful men in the world - those ruling the world's money system - would make life miserable for the true Jews once European terror forces would enter their land to create an important beach head in the Middle East, a region that had become very important to the moneymasters because of the vast resources of oil, which were discovered there not long before.  The misery of the 'many' Jews in the land, called the Palestinians, which are much more directly related to old Israel than European 'Jews', would increase in steps. The first enormous step was the 1948-Nakba, during which villages were raided, hundreds of people slaughtered and 700.000 of them fled into exile. In 1948, the Israeli terror forces merged into the IDF, the 'Israeli Defence Forces'. This was a fulfillment of Zechariah 14:1,2. The second intensification of the Palestinian suffering came with the 'six day war' of 1967 during which Israel occupied the rest of Palestinian land, establishing a system of brutal apartheid. A gradual detoriation brought the Palestinians to the desparate outbreak out of the Gaza open-air prison on October 7, 2023. Since then, the Israeli policy of apartheid was changed into downright genocide, bombing all residential area's of Gaza with all munitions that were given to them by the USA and its European vassals and indiscirminately shooting civilians and resistance forces alike. 

We now assess that the 70th week of Daniel 9 has started on October 7, 2023. Till recently, we held the view that the start of the extreme right Netanyahu cabinet on December 29, 2022 would be the start of the 70th week. But then the midst of the week would have been reached on June 30, 2026, while the events, described in Daniel to happen at the midst of the week, had not yet happened by June 30, 2026. Therefore we had to adjust our assessment.

Maybe we should have realized that the 70th week wouldn't start that quietly. Nothing dramatic happened on December 29, 2022, however a slow detoriation of conditions of Palestiniand followed, especially in the West Bank. But it was not until October 7, 2023 when drastic changes occurrred on the ground. As was the case during the 1948 Nakba, when things suddenly got worse during April 1948, as described by Ilan Pappé: '...in April, it was the shift from sporadic attacks and counter-attacks on the Palestinian civilian population towards the systematic mega-operation of ethnic cleansing that now followed.' 

The stars might also have indicated the start of the 70th week by an extremely bright comet, popping up in Leo, going through its tail and hitting Virgo (a picture of the Jewish people) at the chest and in her abdomen and decending to the tail of the serpent on October 7, 2023.

'The midst of the week' = After the first 3.5 years, 3.5 being half of 7. If the week started on October 7, 2023, 'the midst of the week' would be on April 7, 2026.

'the sacrifice and the oblation' - Mostly 'sacrifice' means the offering of an animal that is to be killed, as in Leviticus 3:1. But it can also have a broader meaning as in Psalm 4:5 and 27:6 - 'sacrifices of righteousness and of joy'. The 'oblation' is a 'gift' and can also have a broad meaning of 'offering' as in Psalm 141:2.'Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.' Both of these terms can refer to any religious ceremony, meant as gift or offering toward the most High - either a Jewish ceremony in a third temple or a Muslim ceremony in a mosque.

'...he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease...' - Here we have the second action of the last Roman emperor, seen  in the president of the USA. Religious observances are ordered to be stopped, the ceremonies to be ended. Worshipers are no longer allowed to pay homage to God. That will be done by the same 'he' that will make the covenant heavy for one week. The shutting down of religious activity is part of the heaviness of 'the week'. If the Endtime is near, one can only expect the rising attacks on the Al Aqsa Mosque as the preliminary for the cessation of 'the sacrifice and the oblation'. Incursions in the domain of the Mosque by settlers, while the police barrs the entrance to Muslims, are happening on a daily basis in June 2026.

'Abominations' - Everywhere this word has the meaning of 'idols', 'false gods' that are honored and worshiped in the place of the one true God, the LORD. According to Daniel 11, the ruler of Israel in the Endtime will 'magnify himself' and 'honor the god of fortresses'. That is what we see in present day Zionist Israel: glorifying their own military strength as well as that of the US-empire, on which they are totally dependant. The exact performance of this abomination is shown in Daniel 11:36-39, in 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4 and in Revelation 13:6.

'the overspreading of abominations' - This can also be translated as 'a wing of abominations' -  The wing as an extremity could signify the enormity of abominations. No country worships its own military supremacy like Israel, bombing, killing and destroying heads of state and little children alike. It does so without impunity because it is being protected by the USA. There we have a second possible meaning of 'wing' - the protection of Israel's crimes by its great ally.

'he shall make it desolate' - Here we have the third action of the last Roman emperor, the US-president, bringing 'desolation', 'destruction' upon 'it'.  As the 'many' concerned the people of Daniel, the 'it' concerns the city and land of Daniel, the holy land. Because of the abominations that Israel performs, under the protection of the USA, total destruction will come upon it. Daniel 9 does not yet reveal how this destruction will come. Daniel 11:39-45 shows us the bigger picture. The abominations committed by Israel will provoke both Egypt and Iran to invade the country. The horror of this invasion is spoken of in Isaiah 28:14-19.

'even until the consummation' - The consummation is the total destruction that will come upon the world. It is the very last phase of the Endtime. The word is mostly translated as 'end'. Destruction will come upon the country of Israel until the very end, until the second coming of Jesus. That is exactly what we read in other places:

'Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.' (Mathew 23:38,39).

'and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled' (Luke 21:24)

' and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.' (Rev.11:2) - exactly the 3.5 years that will pass after 'the abomination'

'and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate' - 'That determined = the final judgment that will be brought about by the Lord at his return. 'shall be poured upon the desolate' = That which was already destroyed and laid waste, will again be struck by judgment.

The words 'dertermined' and 'consummation' are used in combination on two occasions in the book of Isaiah. In Isaiah 10, concerning the invasion of Assyria around 700 BC (when Jerusalem was spared) and in Isaiah 28, concerning a future invasion of the land (when Jerusalem will be destroyed).

'...for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.' (Isaiah 28:22).
