And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years (Genesis 1:14)

He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be" (Genesis 15:4)

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handwork (Psalm 19:1)

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” (Math.2:1,2)

After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. (Math.2:9,10)

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars (Rev.12:1)

'I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star' (Rev.22:16)

19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. (2 Pet.1:19)

Stars

Signature of the Creator

Which instruments would the Most High use to convey his thoughts and plans to the whole of humanity? Besides the Scriptures, bearing the clear mark of the Holy Spirit, the stars of heaven are the most obvious autograph of the Creator's messaging. What greater language could He use to remind us of his eternal love, righteousness and salvation?

But like God's written word, his voice in the stars has been misinterpreted either by man's foolishness or by man's wickedness. For the enemy is always busy to lead mankind into the wrong direction. And as their are many mischievous interpretations of Scripture, likewise their are many detrimental interpretations of the stars of heaven, known as 'astrology', linking dates of births under certain constellations to characters and experiences of individuals. The tale of the stars however concern One and only One Man, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. And all the rest is human conceit at best and demonic falsehood at worst. But let us turn to the testimony of God's word on the stars of heaven.

On the fourth day of creation the sun, the moon and the stars were created, not only to give light on earth but also to 'be for signs. , and for seasons, and for days, and years' (Gen.1:14).

For Abraham, the innumerable stars were testimony to the vastness of his posterity (Gen.15:4). From his offspring would come the Redeemer, which is written in the stars in one of the oldest of constellations: Virgo, representing the line of humanity through which Jesus would be born. And when He came, it was in Leo that two of the brightest planets came in conjunction, twice. This was a spectacle that set the wise men from the East on their year long journey to Bethlehem, where they saw the second conjunction as 'the star' above the place where the Child was born. Let us follow the wise man from the East in order to find Christ throughout all of heaven's stars in order to bow down and worship Him.

The heavens declaring the glory of God go further than a beautiful sunset or a moonlit night or a red-clouded sky. The heavens go further than the vastness of the universe with its breathtaking galaxies. The heavens also tell the tale of the Son of God, becoming Son of man in order to rescue humanity from eternal misery.

Therefore it were Venus and Jupiter, two of heaven's brightest 'walking stars', that came in an extreme close conjunction in the constellation of Leo on August 12 in 3 BC, and again on June 17, in 2 BC. The first time was enough to stir up the wise man from the East to undertake their journey. The second time was when they were about to reach Bethlehem, after being sorely disappointed by the cold reaction of Herod and Jerusalem.

And 2027 years later, on August 12, the two planets of Bethlehem's star will again join in a conjunction, in the constellation of Gemini, representing the restored relationship between God and man through the Son of man, Jesus Christ. Would this finally be the moment of God's people of the church going up into the sky to meet their Lord and Savior and to be eternally at his side?

The great sign in the heavens of Revelation 12 actually appeared in the sun, moon and stars of September 23, 2017. And not only that. It kicked off a series of events in the stars that exactly follow the words of Revelation 12, until the very last verse of the chapter. Would this have somenting to say to us or do we want to remain willfully blind?

On the last page of the Bible, the page on which Jesus again gives his promise of his soon return, Jesus calls Himself 'the Bright and Morning Star'. In those days this was that bright walking star (today called 'planet Venus') that often appeared in the East, as the brightest of heavenly objects before sunrise. In our exploration of the path of Venus, we came to the conclusion that it very much coincides with the prophecies of Revelation.

Peter also refers to this 'Morning Star' in relation to bible prophecy when he writes: 'We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.' (2 Peter 1:19) There sure might be something to Venus, possibly in conjunction with Jupiter, that relates to the rapture of the church, which will be the ultimate shining of the Morningstar in the hearts of his saints.

We explore the possible moments in time of the rapture of the church in our elaborate study of the connection between Revelation 12 and the stars of heaven.

We also dive into the significance of the stars at important events in the first century: April 4 in 30AD, the crucifixion of Jesus and the results of it: his resurrection, his ascension and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

We finally dive deep in the stars of heaven of the years 2025 - 2030 in order to discover relationships with evens of the Endtime as prophesied in the book of Revelation.

All glory and honor to our God and Father, who not only gave his only begotten Son for all of us, but Who also exclaims: 'This is my only begotten Son, listen to Him'.
