Misinterpretations

The book of Revelation might be the most misinterpreted book in history. We have already discussed the internal reasons for it on the home page. There might however also be some external reasons. The book concerns the development of the most relevant world powers. Therefore, these powers might have political motives to hide the true meaning of the book to the public eye. If the public would be aware of the system it is part of, it might be not so willing to cooperate with it.

There are two countries in particular that have reasons to hide the true meaning of Bible prophecy, the USA and the country posing as Israel. The USA pretends not to be in Bible prophecy at all. The Bible would be completely silent on the present day world power. Yet many American Christians believe to be very close to the rapture, happening at most 7 years before the return of Jesus. Are we then to believe that in those 7 years the USA will shrink into insignificance while a thus far insignificant player would rise to world domination? These kind of developments take centuries to come to completion. If the rapture is close, the USA, as the most dominant power in the world mus be in Bible prophecy. And it sure is, as we will on this page.

The second country that has motives for twisting Bible prophecy, is the zionist state of Israel. One could say that Zionism has completely hijacked Bible prophecy so that almost no one rightly understands it. Many evangelical pastors are also to be credited for hiding the true face of the state of Israel behind a mischievous explanation of almost all of Bible prophecy.

In their explanation of Bible prophecy, Zionists pretend that the present state of Israel is the fulfillment of God's promises to his people. They attribute to Israel all the 'good guy'-texts of prophecy and they leave the 'bad-guy'-prophecy for the adversaries in the Muslim world, especially the Palestinian people, that are deemed to be 'Amalek'.

It is however completely the other way around. It is the state of Israel that is acting in defiance of God and his word, while the Palestinians are insisting on human rights that are acknowledged by every human rights institution in the world, starting with the UN. The only entities that have been denying them their rights for decades are the USA and Israel, the two nations that the Bible clearly describes as the two beasts of Revelation 13, which will be totally destroyed by the return of Jesus Christ.

Every soul being part of these entities should realize the devastating consequences of remaining in support of them. As we will show in our exposition on Revelation 18, The USA and all its 'allies' are 'Babylon the Great' of which is said: 'Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.' (Revelation 18:4,5).
